If the PR claim is only thing that’s saving you from elimination, you’ll get caught sooner or later, and mislim later in the game is much worse than mislim early in the game. Plus the chance of drawing CC from town PR for no reason is also bad.
On top of that, you give scum opportunity to jump on you and look town on the process. We never want to give scum opportunity to look town for little to no effort.
It started as that like 3 years ago but I do it now because I can't stand playing like a Vanilla. Weird reason, but usually I play better and don't rely on the claim that much. This game just made me lose my interest faster then usual. Think I also claimed it mostly cuz I was salty that I was just shot by a vig as a PR for staying silent for once about my role in my other game.
But yeah. Like I said, I gotta do better next time.
I think considering the way that ppl were treating your claim in this game, the game you got shot by vig would be a great one for you to build a countermeta on. Burn few games to establish that countermeta, you can probably get some of the freedom back. But I think for now you should proooobably hold off on fakeclaiming unless you think doing so can win the game. Being stuck on the negative meta can suck.
