If Ceph IS town we get thr benefit of Ceph's N3 doc action or scum kill Ceph for us before then which is good ANYWAY.

So there is no real benefit to which order we kill furtive and Ceph in besides killikg scum first being correct.

Furtive's claim was hyper delayed and strange and if he was town with a guilty he should have just claimed it?

But then again scum would have had all night to prepare a fake claim.

The upside for hitting scum first is good on both sides. Furtive benefits from this fake claim as scum and there is good reason to do it if they are scum.

So we should kill the scummier one first.

So this play makes 0 sense for scum targetting scum and even if that is what they did we will win from it by killong the other one before ELO.

Well we can have third option and elim someone outside of check and cop.

It prevents potential doctors from guessing game in case when ceph flips mafia. We kinda not in ELO, can afford that. And while they both alive, let them work?

i know no one but me cares about this probably but it bothers me so im going to post about it anyway

the idea that furtive cannot read me is one i believe he has not considered in great detail before making it. not only is there the scumread i already posted about in this very game, but (to my recollection) i believe we have played 5 previous games together. in those games, he has correctly scumread me twice, incorrectly scumread me once, and been my partner twice. he expressed little to no uncertainty in the read in those games even when i pointed out that he appears to always scumread me. he has also had the privilege of being my partner twice and getting to see how i think and operate in real time.

this is not someone who has good reason to think they cannot read me

Consider this.

They can never both be town right? Cause town furtive won't lie. So scratch that.

They can both be scum but if they ARE both scum it is okay. We kill the one we keep alive the day before ELO as a test every time so if they are both scum it's 2 of 3 scum down.

So we only need to worry about town/scum splits. If Furtive town, it's obvious what was done. Furtive copped a scum. Yay.

If furtive scum, Furitve nearly died yesterday claims N1 cop to buy time fakes a guilty and gets 2 dead townies (FF and Ceph) for his 1 claim.

This is perfectly good strategy for scum because it also gives 2 night kills as well.

So both have odds at being scum here so it is down to reads.
