I guess I should have clarified, I meant different case because!!! What has been posted about Elpis hasn’t persuaded me! When I read their iso (something I just did!!) I truly get the sense they’re a new town player trying to keep up the best they can!!!

The lack of hard pushing people doesn’t phase me that much! A newer player may not be inclined to do so confidently, but they were consistently expressive and curious this game in a way that I think mafia would not be! I think it is a bit of a copout to equate depth to alignment but!! It’s where I’ve ended up!

The worst thing I can say about them is their treatment of N_M, and the vote on that wagon, did not have as many words as I would have wanted to explain or agree with the wagon around the vote itself! I suppose N_M may have asked Elpis to vote and put him on V-1 to make it look like a good bus but, I don’t know!!

However I am not sheeping anyone this game!! My thoughts are my own!!

Honestly, I feel like I said all I could think of about NM, they just weren't contributing, they barely had anything to say when they did, and they seemed completely unserious. I've been TOLD that them acting that way is normal by folks, but like, they just seemed scummier than anyone else in the game! Especially since I think at the time everyone was tunneling Ethel, which seemed really weird at the time considering she didn't do anything I percieved to be scummy. Not many people had at that point, so it just made sense to me to vote for them.

As for the Andante and Peregrine discussion of voting:

I would probably be comfortable voting Merlyn because I think of the people in the game, they're the most likely to be scum, but if anyone has someone they feel is more likely between Peregrine and Andante, I'd be happy to hear different thoughts. We have plenty of time to consider things, and it's imperative we don't make the wrong choice.

That seems super dangerous because if a single town votes the wrong person that's an instant loss, right?

The situation I am anticipating is one where you and peregrine vote for merlyn while merlyn and andante vote for peregrine

We're essentially already in the super dangerous situation: if town places a vote and is wrong, game over. Scum either show up and vote or switch their votes, kaboom.
