also at the time i was scumreading venmar i thought the announcing jailkeeper was scum which would make venmar mechanically scum (or protected by NJAC's jailkeep but eh!) because scum would know furtive was protected and make a different shot.
now im thinking the announcing jailkeeper is town. i think if the announcing jailkeeper is town and venmar is scum then that would have most likely been included venmar's defense earlier. but venmar's defense was based on him speculating he couldve been defended via NJAC which is such a bad defense if he knows for a fact the announcing jailkeep is town (which he would if he were scum). so i think venmar is always town tbh.
and if the announcing jailkeep is scum then venmar mechanically has to be town since he was jailkept n1 and the announcing still happened.
