for balts or sky who may be thinking that my behavior in that last game was platonically emblematic of the vanilla townie, i think id be able to equally embrace death as a PR too (editors note: this is to wifom scum into nightkilling me on the off chance i make it out of day 1).

anyway i am now reading. im at this work retreat and am also dually managing my pain and medical situation. so i have sort of been nominally vla for the past 3 days and will be for 1 or 2 more days

Regardless, while you are here - Do you have any worlds that involve sheep, or if not, I currently find everyone but you and sheep as mafia, from Your point of view that is wrong, so, assuming you are still seeing me as town, what players am I mistakenly giving free passes here? (as I am kinda loosey goosey with the townreads for D1 purposes, and on second thought I'll be honest, this latest string of posts gave me major doubts, I do think you are capable of cool nuanced discussion as town and I've seen it b4 so thats what im looking for here and I'm not used to super memey hellbooks)

For me, a big part of the fun of mafia lies in the social and joking around with friends aspects. But I recognize that this isn't true for most people -- I just had a very great time playing in a game where my largely unserious posting was fairly positively received by everyone, so I thought I'd just keep doing that forever. I quickly realized that this wasn't the case for this game and I'm struggling and feeling reluctant to adjust to actually acting as a "Respectable player" as affirmed by the "Mafia literature". Especially as someone who operates on the humbling foundational belief that my scumreads are not distinguishably better than random. Or at least i have not been strongly compelled to believe otherwise by experience or consistent game playing. I would like to advocate by saying that thats probably why I've been less broadly engaged in this game compared to the other one, as stated by baltar: not because of me getting pressured, or even because of my work obligations, but mainly for this reason -- That my preferred style of unhelpful posting is (reasonably, i admit) not being received as well.

To answer your question, i would ask you to refer to my devil4lyfe pool. Ofc i've been a little shaken on sky & tris. I dont have a townread on baltar. I'm actually quite willing to be a warm body on a sheep lim (a sheep if you will). Yes, my own partner! The scandal! That being said, i would discourage you from expecting me, or indeed many other people, to have opinions on people, or associations between people, that are as strong as yours. But it doesnt seem like from my perspective that folks turning up the heat on sheep is at the moment yielding veal, which i use as a food metaphor, to emulate your own gimmick, for "better answers."

I think you are a difficult read for me because I read people by their actions and what they do throughout the game.
Unserious posting doesn't help me read you (though some people know how to read into that kind of posting, I am not one of those), but it's enjoyable and it seems like it's what you have fun doing. I don't think you need to serious post to play mafia well. You acknowledging your own reads as potentially being not better than random.
