Discarded children were a serious problem in 1970s Scarfolk. Adults who had decided against parenthood, whether for reasons of finance or boredom, would dump their offspring in sacks by roadsides or in laybys.

Hungry children who had not been given the required sedative dosages often chewed their way out of the sacks and wandered into speeding traffic. Not only did these unwanted children cause hours of unnecessary delays to motorists, but a study showed that discarded children were responsible for close to a million pounds worth of damage to car bonnets, bumpers and windscreens in 1974 alone.

From January 1975, any ‘Bag Baby’ (as they came to be known) involved in a road accident that incurred costs to motorists, risked a fine of up to £125.

1. Because I haven't reevaluated or read sheep yet
2. Because aureal's meltdown makes even more sense if her partner is getting run up too

I feel it's fairly obvious that we should be killing in (fire, dunn, ceph) today

I think the argument for murdering fire is now overwhelmingly compelling but I'm willing to listen to arguments on dunn/ceph too

the argument for killing fire is very simple:

fire!slots predecessors were scummy

fire was CW by a town wagon that was backed by scum who resisted pushing him

fire wouldn't get traction and was defended by scum

fire voted for town > voting for scum yesterday

is it possible that fire is town? yes

is it massively more likely he's scum? yes

is it pretty much the objectively correct play to kill him? also yes

I think 1 bus 1 defend is a possible configuration but correct play is to murder the defend then worry about the bus if game isn't over later on

Aisa is definitely town, aureal is v likely town by virtue of being the CW, it’s possible ydra is scum who bussed but more likely is that both scum were defending sheep I think

Which makes it fire + (ceph/dunn)

The fact that ceph is trying to angle for a lim on aureal here instead of limming on the CW to sheep makes me think it’s more likely him vs dunn but I need to read them both in ISO to check that

Also while I think fire is the absolute right play for today we shouldn’t rush day

I'd narrow it down to fire and Dunn. Been going back and forth over which I think is better to go for here. I'll have to read back all that stuff more in-depth but at the moment I'm leaning Dunn. My initial suspicions come back to mind, about sheep silently voting Enchant then only speaking up about the wagon to try to cast it as definitely the right thing to do once Dunn started becoming a counterwagon. And that stuff sheep said at the end about how he and fire were mind-melding could've been a way to further link them and make him look suspicious when sheep went down. I know I was feeling in the moment that they probably had to be working together, they felt so on the same page, but I'll have to evaluate that again with a cooler head and more info.

i think that sheep posted enough and i feel like i play scum w a somewhat similar approach to him that it's pretty possible on a reread i would feel okay about guessing what he was trying to accomplish with his posts, especially on d1/d2 (i still feel like the main goal of d3 was probably appear unaligned)

i haven't done that and am unusually busy for the next couple days but i will try to do that

Tell me why this specific counterwagon can't be a partner or you're just doing wagonomics (which are not real)

I lean slightly towards claiming today. I wouldn't go into it with an expectation that it will tell us something super interesting (e.g. most likely we don't get any direct contradiction), but there is a small chance that it will, and we likely don't have _that_ many nights left so the damage of outing PRs is not that high.
