There is now confirmed to be one player running the Nightmare. All future proposals will include Doctor Drew as a result. If people are in favor of a different voting style, that’s ok with me, since the style of how votes are proposed has no mechanical effect on the game. I’m using coalition to preserve my sanity and enable me to make VCs more regularly. FWIW, Coalition voting was decided after the review, but still has zero mechanical effect on the game, outside of ease of modding.

So, the overreaction to me is that snivy seemed to call it a confident wolfread, independently. "because im confident, why am I not voting him??" it felt wolfy because it felt like trying to shade me by grasping for something that wasn't there + strong reactions to relatively slight pressure is just a minor wolftell blah blah. I do totally get the logic that I should generally be voting my most confident wolfread tho. but I simply wasn't super compelled to join a wagon of size 0.


-drew described abgenation's main's playstyle as like, non-commitive and second-guessing. the longer I had information on who she was, and the more I thought about it, I was like yeah that seems right from what I know. I think it makes the overconfident vibe at the start of the game wolfy for her specifically. I thought what ive seen from her main is capable of being very towny and even though it is very early there is no glimpse of that so let's poke it

also she had just indicated intention to start catching up and I thought I would like to have a wagon on her while she does that. morning tweet otoh seemed like she was gonna pop in here and there every multitude of pages (very respectfully) and a vote would do almost nothing

I can see where you're coming from on the confident thing, I think you and I are just reading it a little differently. I agree that none of your reads seemed confident, but the wording you used for snivy seemed the most confident of the group.

You and MT have both said Abnegation has a lack of towniness- can I ask you both what you mean by that specifically? Like, what should I be seeing? Or uh, not seeing?
