1. arrive with the loss already engraved in your heart. rid yourself of the desire to "win." reach enlightenment. watch as your scumrange stretches to infinity. remember, the first nightkill any mafia must make is that of their own fear.
2. you should try and intersperse reads and game relevant moments in between spamming lots of fun posts. the former is especially important because otherwise people will become suspicious and they will try to alleviate their suspicion by assigning you "tasks" such as giving your opinion on things or reading peoples isos and coming back with a little book report on it. you want to avoid "tasks" at all costs
3. hope that edman hits some good dingers out there (this step, i admit, is rather case-specific.)

I've expressed a bunch of thoughts and I don't feel like anyone is evaluating them really or taking them seriously, maybe its just early stage nonsense.
And maybe who knows maybe this will be the first time I've been mislimmed since like 2015 or something like that. Would be exciting.

Maybe I should consider that in this setup in particular being found has more value than in a normal game of mafia but I think playing specifically to be town read would be such a departure from how I try to play as either alignment that I'm not even really sure how I would go about it.
My strength as a mafia player is being very good at recreating my town game as scum so like its hard for me to even envision what a shea who is just trying to get town reads would look like.
I think that's false because it's all zero sum, if you determine that sheep is 80% likely to be scum you can coalition other people at random and hit instant wins more. If you determine that I am 100% likely to be scum with skitter and she is explaining to me that Power cards are not actually that important against Time Eater in the scum PT then you get winning coalitions every time

i am interested in if it is a real thought you had because last game as scum you made a post that i felt was kinda similar victim-y vibes of "everyone is treating me like x" and it was made up and you ignored me when i tried to ask you for specifics
im aware that you make posts like that all the time regardless of alignment but i think they're more likely to come from a real place of feeling when you're town
im not gonna like litigate whether your feelings of engagement with the posts are valid or whatever im just wondering where the thought is coming from for you
I think actually what I'm feeling is that everyone in this game is really good friends with each other and I'm kinda like the metaphorical third wheel in this player list to be honest and I do not have a lot of confidence that I can break through that rather than any specific thought.
It's a vibe.

this game is undoubtedly bound to be a somewhat vibey social one for anyone who feels like participating in that but when it comes to the actual mafia reads and bits like that i will still be taking everyone's thoughts seriously and engaging with them and trying to solve the game
