i think both of them are content to be left out of the coalition and i think they genuinely mean it and are aware that it is actually fairly likely to happen at this moment

Well as I already said ari is lock scum.

And your positions don't make sense to me as anything other than a way to bump aris thread power level personally. I don't think you actually think any of the things you said you think and all of them just so happen to back up ari.

it's more 227 than 242 alone; 227 feels like scum who are annoyed they're being sr for a wrong/bad/silly reason

if it helps (probably not) my thought process there was more along the lines of "that doesn't really make any sense as a read to me so wait why is isis treating it as a basis for one"

like if you're actually town with real town thoughts behind your scum read, i think its basic responsibility to the town to like actually explain them

Well Shea said that Ari/Fire were scum.

I countered that by saying that I think Shea/Fire are scum together - and that we should all sit out the three of us so that we both get our solves.

This is an issue for a scum player who is distancing off his partner because if you create distance to set up for post coalition failure - its good because usually one side of the fight will end up on the coalition. But if someone gets you both to sit outside its an auto-lose and your distancing ploy is not very good.

Like it's very hard for shea to maintain fire+ari scum when ari just says ok then lets all sit out because if we all sit out then the game is over in the world where shea+fire are scum.

so he needs to basically pivot and put fire as town because he cant maintain scumreads on ari/fire and also get one of him/fire into the coalition - which is basically what he did.

Now if shea is scum and fire is town, there's no reason for him to really do this, if I sit out with Shea/Fire and I'm town and fire is town and shea is scum, then shea's scum partner likely makes it into the final 5 since theres 6 players left and 5 of them will be in the coalition.

he only needs to pivot/discredit me in a world where he and fire are actually scum together.

also like in the world where I'm town and shea is town and fire is town then we're always losing the coalition part of the game and it'd be nice for me to know my reads are like awful before we actually begin voting to axe people.

gunna lurk for a while. I'm feeling pretty down on how I'm being interacted with this game so I'm just gunna nope out for a bit.

i think he does probably have a thought process but is being obstinant/indignant bc he's like that

but he puts a priority on imitating his towngame (at the cost of other things at times) and i don't think that he thinks he plays like this as town even if he does

and like if me/shea are both town and that coalition fails then its almost definitely a town autolose because we are clearly just going to tunnel each other

thats why its better to leave us both out even if we're both town because it avoids a lot of issues down the road in case coalition failure
