Micro 1089: the coalition, again [game over]

hellbooks how do you feel about the coalition <tris, sheep, thestatusquo, skitter, fireisredsir> rn

ok hm.... i guess thats like a fairly narrow and unconvincing pool of fun car folks to think that scum exists fully within. and well i also had the thought earlier that, based on how any day 1s in other games anecdotally play out and how town is generally (in my experience) pretty bad at finding correct full solutions this early on in the game, any winning coalition probably has to take some successful gambles on limbait -- except i dont really know if there have come to be any of those in this game, it seems like everyone's got advocates to some degree

i guess when it comes to the general philosophy of "maximizing odds", the proposed coal seems to somewhat accurately reflect the group of people with the most consensus. i think my one big problem with that is with a "coalition of least resistance" such as this, if there arent voices significantly shouting against it, then the very simple conclusion to draw is that scum is fine with it. but of coruse maybe it IS a winning game of coal and scum is playing a game of chicken, like we haven't adequately threatened to make it a reality so they're holding firm and silent (and maybe in order to advance that threat i should instead be going like "yeah full steam ahead lets blast this coal into reality" and i honestly am at a baseline of 20 per cent wanting to say that about literally any proposed coal at this point). or maybe they're kind of trying to softly sow dissent against the coal like um. you are doing now maybe. except i kind of do want you in the coal so. at least more than like 3 or 4 of those people. i guess youre the person that id like to gamble on. lets bet on this. let bet on this shit. reference to my former avatar that was adam sandler of uncut gems and i might change it back in the spirit of things

im wavering on ari and isis which makes me hesitant bc it's probably not just bulge/hellbooks (that is, it could be, but i don't want to assume it is bc easy answer usually wrong etc) and so im not really convinced that im not misreading someone in tris/sheep/skitter

I meant more along the lines of who do you have a problem with in this coalition and who do you want in instead and why?

not a "oh there's no opposition so there's no scum opposition" because that's wifomable and like I don't think its realistic for scum to a see a coalition forming without them on it and immediately start screaming no at the top of their lungs because that's kind of a dead obvious giveaway and I don't expect any scum to be so obvious about it.

another take you could make is

"oh I think Ari is either scum with scum in the coalition or town because if ari is scum and supporting a full 5 town coalition that would be throwing"

and therefore if Ari is scum this coalition doesnt win
if ari is town and I know I'm town, then the scum team would have to be exactly Isis/Bulge for this coalition to win and I don't think it's exactly Isis/Bulge because the odds are low and Isis's read on bulge is so haphazard that they are unlikely to be teamed.

but like these are all kind of irrelevant to the more important question of like who do you actually not like in this coalition and you think is going to make it lose?
