The voice of an omniscient narrator is one of comfort for many, though an intrusion for others who wish to discover the world on their own. Why does this narrator feel the need to tell me everything? Why is this narrator a better source of information than my own eyes and ears? It is a reasonable frustration to experience, but one that may not be entirely logical. The narrator knows what matters, the average person does not. Is something foreshadowing, or simply a minute detail left to be lost like a grain of sand in a vast beach? The narrator does not have value in their perspective in sheer amount of knowledge, but in their comprehension of time. Seeing the future is infinitely more unique and valuable than having seen everything and read every thought in any set period of time. That is the true value of a narrator. You can see all that a narrator does, but can you comprehend its purpose on a grander scale?

Gamma's confusion at my playstyle shows a discomfort with the new or the unknown. No welcoming for the new Meuh, no open arms, no pleasant surprise, only confusion, that deep down comes from a place of fear. Perhaps not the fear of a townie, but of a mafia member, pointing fingers at those comfortable in their own skin, hoping not to be cornered?

What in particular? I liked Chell’s progression from 131 to 137 but it’s definitely not unfakeable and I’d guess that it’s well within Chell’s scumrange too.

Am I over-analyzing, or is everyone else under-analyzing? I urge you to ponder. Development should always be sought after, change is inevitable and it is beautiful. Never try living in pure stability. However, never try living in pure change. Never treat life as a transition phase, as every moment holds merit that deserves to be enjoyed. Set goals, reach them, but as we all know, it's about the journey, not the destination, especially when the destination is ever-changing and fluid. Breathe in the air around you, look at every corner of the room, take it all in. You're here, right now, living. and that's beautiful.
