Miller is a negative utility, and one that provides outs to scum by being a possibility. Having the meta be to claim it early prevents that. My homesite had a period of games where without fail there would be a negative-utility massclaim where everyone declared if their role had some sort of negative function to being targeted or not.

Also, here's something for all of you. I repeat: I'm Miller-Something, and that "Something" part, because of the other Miller claims is just as negative as the Miller part. If not worse.
(1) If I ever use the Something, there's more than 50% chance that I hurt the town.
(2) If I ever hard-claim, it generates a WIFOM avalanche.
(3) If I get Eliminated or Nightkilled, it's gonna be Boonie who tells you my role, which appears to be the least harm done.

I'm posting this, because
If you're also Miller-Something, check whether those points can be true for you. Don't post the answer, just check it. If it's only me, Eliminating the shirt out of me is the best option. If not, there may be someone smarter than me out there who can make something good out of it, without having to claim it. Or later there will be more info about the Setup which can hint the other "Somethings" what to do.

Well, this is gonna be a little ironic from someone who just said "idk what you all want" to their wagon but! Pushes flying from one person to the other isn't bad? We're just not really doing anything with it imo.
