Ok now that DEFCON is over, I can say that the reason I don't believe Marci's claim is because she's playing really similarly to that game. She's goofing around but in a way that feels intentional; I saw someone else say it looks like a performance, which I don't think 100% succinctly describes it but is close enough. I think she goofs around regardless of alignment, but it comes across differently to me when she's scum, like she's trying to present herself how people expect her to play.

The other reason I suspect her is a lot more self-centered, but I expected town!Marci to suspect me back if I was wrong here since I usually correctly read her. But I didn't get much of a reaction out of her at all, which makes me think she's treading carefully.

But all it takes is one person to see through me and get my message, and often from D2 onwards I'm rather obv.town. This game won't be an exception. (Una with the self meta AGAIN! Yuck!)

Other than Drew, everyone who was on gera has now moved off and I don't think I really got anything- but yeah, he was mainly there to exist as a "jjh approved" option that wasn't bulge so I could hunt for associatives. Might be worth another look at my exchange with drew where I tried to get him to vote Bulge with some weak reasoning to see if he'd budge, but I still think he's probably town

Just to pop over to the side for a second since I'm very much going to be focusing on Flavor Leaf for a little bit, the logic is essentially that in a game where it is known that the mafia have a cop, it is likely that the mafia will use that cop to try and find a traitor.
The existence of a miller in a setup with a mafia cop could result in some very very funny shenanigans where the mafia believe they have found a traitor when they have in fact found a miller

You are a better player than me, but after reading the other posts on why there is a miller in the game I think you should have known better than to make that claim as town.

if there is a traitor in this game, this post feels town indicative for geraint. or at the very least not group scum

I just feel in the scenario that there is a traitor there is a nonzero chance that scum would see FL claiming miller at the start of the game, meme or not, and think “hey, that’s our miller”

that’s kind of why i think scum might be slightly more likely to take a neutral to positive stance on Flavor Leaf a la Nono

I honestly dislike this assumption and talk of traitors all over the place. Especially from jjh.
I know it would make more sense of the announced scum!cop, but since this is a complex setup I'm almost certain that a Traitor isn't a given.
I could come up with multiple reasons why not / alternative reasons for the Cop without it being a total red herring.

I'h at least hope we would stop talking about a Traitor as if it's confimed to exist.

I'm pretty sure a traitor exists, but Endless roll speculation day 1 is not helpful to town at all

dann has been pushing for gera the whole time he's been in the game, now that my wagon has traction he backpedals on gera and immediately shifts attention to me

if dann is scum here i think it is more likely that gera is town than dann bussing a partner and then backing off onto a townie, reads more to me like me and gera are both town mislim options. i dont think the opportunism would be this blatant if they were partners
