how hard a theory, or just a fancy?
It's something I've been told as dying scum by teammates before - "hey can you start pushing/townreading x/y?". It would also explain the sudden massive push on Titus with only a single unexplained vote as precedent. Right now I think I'd prefer to eliminate not Ircher just because I have stronger scumreads (e.g. you).

Yeah they said "hey furt your slot is doomed sorry. Can you start pushing Afrayed? I think there's thread appetite there. Also, pushing Meuh would be great. Risk of her becoming TRed so it would be good to prevent that. As for your own slot, scumreading your predecessor always goes down well."

Why though? Frustration is like the easiest tone for scum to genuinely have and then carry over into looking townie. Scum get cleared off of easily fakeable annoyed/frustrated tones all the time when they're just genuine emotions being slightly repackaged into a townie mindset
One thing for me on Titus is that her being scum kind of clears Meuh and Ircher (based on traditional ways of reading), who are 2 other players in the POE for me.

"Just looking at the PL" was literal, I went to page 1 of the game and looked at the PL. As a general amalgam of Hu Tao/Alianna's treatment by others, POE and how I felt about their posting, it just made sense for scum to exist there. Pretty sure Alianna hadn't posted in a while when I made this post or when I checked the PL and that idea came to mind, so why single out Hu Tao here?
