@Fferyllt if we get into a situation where after executing Dann we only have four left, does town win in the event that scum chooses to repeatedly no-kill? When I first played back in 2016 I think the consensus was that it would be a draw but I saw a recent game where Dragoneater was scum where I believe he was debating doing this in scumchat and the mod decision was that it was up to scum to actively kill and choosing to no kill for 3 nights in a row would default to a town victory. What is your take on the matter?

I do and kind of don't see your logic, on the no kill.In post 1344, Dannflor wrote: the problem is scum in afrayed or kittie's position do benefit quite a lot from no killing especially given looking back i think it's pretty obvious who timmer was going to target?
Lets work through your statement as a thought exercise, if everyone thought Timmer was going to Jail-keep you.
I think it would still be beneficial for scum to use their kill to get rid of Timmer being he is the only confirmed power roll.
In this thought exercise that everyone is believing you are the one to be Jail-kept. and expectantly awaiting that outcome to influence our votes today.
I feel that it would have been a better play for the scum to kill Timmer, as it would turn the remaining town on each other, and in a weaker position with out the power role.
Here we all are waiting for the out come of the jail keep to confirm your role. A kill would have turned us all on each other and make us all revaluate our game play.
With everyone believing your scum no matter what were going into another night and day. A no kill leaves the scum in a weaker position.
that being said, I honestly thought Timmer was going to Jailkeep Comet, thats where my thought was going.
I'm still not 100% convinced on where my vote should go.
Dan you seem the like obvs choice, but I have a tickle in my brain about comet.Always watching-

So in the scenario that Dann is town Kittie, you think I would be the other scum here?-

Why do you assume a no kill and not even consider the possibility that they targeted you but it failed because I protected you?In post 1346, Dannflor wrote: but I am town
scum did intentionally no kill
I think I can figure out who needed to do that to get to end game
my gut instinct still says afrayed but i'd like a little bit of time to be sure of thatThere are 2 kinds of people in the world... those who can handle incomplete statements-

In your hypothetical, would Town be choosing to no-elim during the days? If not, I would let the game play out.
If both factions keep choosing not to eliminate/kill, then I would declare a draw after two full rounds of it.-

The idea would be that if Dann is executed then Timmer picks between Knott/WhemeStar and Kittie to constantly jailkeep and tells us who it is and we keep voting for no execution. If mafia gets picked then obviously no kills will happen, if he picks town then if mafia kills Timmer or me then we know for 100% that it's the person who wasn't jailkept and if mafia chooses over and over to no kill then the question would be who wins in that circumstance. In post 1361, fferyllt wrote: In your hypothetical, would Town be choosing to no-elim during the days? It sounds like that would result in a draw so disregard.-

Jailkeeper was claimed yesterday by Timmer and he was counterclaimed by Merlyn who we proceeded to execute and she flipped as scum.In post 1368, WhemeStar wrote: Can someone answer if jailkeeper was claimed before today-

Interesting - this is you having read basically none of the thread right? Given you're asking if there's a jailkeeper. In post 1364, WhemeStar wrote: Judging from no death last night we have town jail keeper right
Why wouldn't you be considering a potential doctor here? That would also stop a night kill.-

Mafia could have no-killed here but I'm confused at the motive. At night I was of the mindset that mafia is between Knott/WhemeStar and Kittie and that we would come into a 4-man day and have to decide between them... assuming Dann is town then mafia no-killing does indeed frame him but best-case scenario for them all it does is result in us executing Dann and then another night happening where they either kill or no-kill again and we enter Day 5 in the exact scenario again where it's between Knott/WhemeStar and Kittie.
Basically, why would scum no-kill? The main reason I can think of is to frame whoever is jailkept and to give no information to jailkeeper about who isn't scum (because the person jailkept is definitely not scum if a kill happens)... but Timmer specifically didn't share who he was jailing last night so why not just... kill him at night and force us into a Dann/Comet/Kittie/Knott showdown with no hard proof pointing to or clearing anyone?-

uhhhh because no one in their right mind would choose to kill me instead of the claimed jailkeeper? that would just be a game throwing move and it's not something I would ever consider hereIn post 1359, TimmerRC wrote:
