Pedit: I know you did, I'm saying that these might be reads to engage with that are not meta related? SInce you seem to lack anything not meta related to engage with.
Why RC? From memory they felt pretty solvy

I'm scumreading yess and RC based on this game, even though RC is actually opposite his scum meta so I should be townreading him here.
okay this is WEIRD
you're doing something I call "thorHeading" but you're being self-aware while doing it? Or maybe I am misapplying. Basically, if a player's meta case seems to suggest the opposite idea that they're trying to convey, there is a strong possibility they are scum trying to hammer meta into the specific-shaped hole hey need to make it fit. I'll link the game where the tell came about, as well as got its name

Thoughts I had while working on the solve:
RCE and Ari have exact opposite stances on me. Wacky!
@Theta
I'm concerned you're showing trepidation at kyouko-slot being pushed while the replacement was being waited on when I
know
you saw what happened with the penguin-pisskop slot in BTXVII.
@Ari
@RCE
I want you two to address and try to reconcile this. I just mentioned the thorHead tell and it reminded me this is unresolved, I have a feeling this could be lucrative (though I'll be real it's kinda a selfish thought)

yeah this isn't a viable long-term strategy, for either you or DE. As I see it, a player refusing to break a tell runs a particular risk (one that I don't want to directly mention because I don't want it thought that I'm suggesting it to be the case in this game). As such, that player has a motive to eventually break the tell since they face potential consequences if they don't. So trying to use a tell this black-and-white is setting yourself up for a big blunder when it's eventually broken.
It's not that he's refusing to break it, it's that he can't. It's like us trying to draw good. Once he finally learns to case as scum we'll get burned once in a single game and then stop using that tell, until then it's easy street for us
Do you think his case is good? I got the impression that you just saw a wall and then townread him for that

He pulled out like three different games and had a thread of logic that changed his read significantly, that's more than what he can do as scum

Gotcha. I was mainly wondering if you actually read it or if you saw wall and locked him in

Like more specifically it's the development of his ari meta read that made us locktown him, scum!DE would be gigalazy about it and just pick a narrative that suits him without mentioning the other games (probably from not reading those games) instead of tying it all together like that

firebringer's response to black kinda feel like his play around spiffeh in the thing mafia from 2016
so he's probably town like in that game
Are ppl fr metaing 7 year old games?
Problem?
Yeah actually, how are you getting anything useful from games that old
not that old. People dont really change over time as much as people say, too
7 years ago we still thought we were cis and a singlet, that's a crazy amount of time to not change your town or scum game
If we are talking about real life I'd add that 7 years ago I was extremely shy and insecure and now I'm confident and outgoing

This would 100% impact how I play mafia, too.
Seven years ago I was wildly different. Was married to a husband with mental health and anger issues that bled into the game.
