It feels like there is a disconnect here. You like Ranger's list which I'm assuming means Lap is your #1 suspect too, but you were afraid of him being at e-1 because you don't want him to claim, and you don't want him to claim because he might be town? Am I understanding that correctly

Also I'm not sure why you're mentioning the social experiment here? It feels like you're trying to justify unvoting for Lap. What is the experiment and how big of a factor was it in your vote?

Nope, my top suspect is probably still Ranger. I never claimed that Lap was my top scumvote, but I can understand why someone would put him up there. Basically I’ll let people differ in reads unless it seems wayyy out.

I probably made it sound overly fancy, just like 'what happens? who jumps on?' instincts tell me that the people who jump fourth, fifth, sixth onto wagons are a bit sus (why do i keep jumping on at sus points frick)

I know there’s a lot of posts to wade through but I have explained my thoughts on Ranger multiple times. I might just be new to her meta but I think she’s remaining very fluid on who to vote and not creating a genuine readslist. When I suggested that she only made as many reads lists as necessary to shift onto Light, her response was not ‘no i wasn’t doing that' but(paraphrasing) 'I would not be capable of doing that'. +microwave problems which obviously seems NAI. I get the sense that they

be capable of doing that, so the response felt like a lie.

However, I might be reading into it too much. I’m actually lacking many confident reads at all yet

Huh? I thought you were saying where were you at the time of the list, and the answer was dead center. You're feeling townier by virtue of taking the time to talk and pick apart and ask questions about my thoughts instead of taking any advantageous to you and using them.

Ah, I see what you're saying. Best way I can describe it is "that argument was either insanely scummy or insanely towny, but I'm just not sure which so they cancel out." Really I just need to present reads as 0.5 +/- 0.45, get the mean and the variation. Error bars make everything better.

The pedantry was a lot, but with looking back rather than seeing it unfold it seemed a lot more of a TvT argument. None of the suspect tone I read before was popping out. So like, 30% pedantic, 70% better vibes now that I can see the whole thing instead of reading it as it happened
