I actually kind of like Luka saying my entry was awkward because it was, a bit. (I was really just ego posting and forced a joke in there to make it a "real" RVS post.) Doesn't make them town but I'm giving them a point for noticing.

Being voted as soon as I join my first game. Anxiety inducing.

Openly admitting to being anxious about being voted strikes me as towny, because my instinct as scum is "be cool, don't overreact" when I get an early vote. Particularly as newb scum I would be trying to put on an "I don't even care that I got voted" front, but Overcat just flat out says they do care which is probably a genuine non-contrived reaction and so a town one.

Luka is being quite antagonistic which inherently makes me want to vote them, I don't think they're actually scummy though. This could be overcorrection but I don't think scum!luka would be this aggressive this early. Especially when immediately discounting your words like he had. It's not nice, but I don't think it's scummy

I don't really get it but I'm happy to give them a chance to explain it. I have seen plenty of reads I don't really get come from town.

Townpoint to Hu Tao for trying to make their position and trajectory transparent at the expense of a clean narrative. (Either "I just meant I like them as a player" or "I was/am townreading them because..." would be cleaner narratives that would be easier to pick if you are just making something up)

I like this for now. No one really has a strong ISO yet but this is the weakest of the lot. The only opinion they've expressed so far is "I like 36" which is... fine, I like 36 too, but that's not even so much as a read if they don't say more than that about it.

Mostly yes. I do have some to say but I'm keeping chill for a bit. Before taking a mafia break my playstyle was actively detrimental to my mental health and at times others' experience, I mostly joined this game because I saw Ceejay was in it and generally am in a better place right now, but that's all mostly out of game.

I feel good about you and Hu Tao so far, as inferred by a prior post. Beyond that Jackson is probably towniest just for effort and the best opening post.

I like this answer (mostly that it's a "yes, that's exactly what I'm doing" instead of a "no you're misrepping me" or something like that).

HEM, this reason for a push on Luka is pretty bad imo. People forget PRs all the time as both alignments. If anything I think town forget them a little more often. Scum still need to keep track of who is the IC if only to remember to shoot them at night.

It was mostly their push on you that made me think about them again, and then I remembered they were replacing Ceejay who had been in my scum pool, and when I looked through their posts I got a bad gut feeling. Let me look through them again and either convince or unconvince myself of it in the process of trying to explain.

Spoiler: a few HEM posts

First of all: this is going to sound really dumb but they made too many joke posts in their intro. One or two is cool, 5-6 is just fluffing.

To Luka or anyone else who might use this argument: I am less convinced about "too wolfy to be wolf" arguments because sometimes wolves can just be wolves and sometimes the instinct to call them wolfy is right. I feel like I need to be able to weigh it against all other instances where I can label their behavior as town if I want to really cross them out of my pool. Would you disagree?

There is nothing wrong with these posts and I saw some other people give HEM points for "good questions" here, but really they are not hard questions for scum to ask. Finding a seeming contradiction and poking at it is the easiest way to fake scumhunting which is something any half-competent scum player must do. (This is not to say these posts make HEM scum but that they don't make them town.)

I first told HEM their push on Luka was bad because I wanted to see their response to me before voting. There are a lot of new posts and there is maybe a 30% chance I actually read and retain them but I still remember that I really hated 551 and looking back I still hate it. Wanting to end the day quickly while still being undecided on your own reads is an unnatural position for town to take, normally it's either "can we just launch X already because we all know they're town" or "I need more time to think about this." When their reaction was taunt and make fun of my mafia skills, I knew it was going to be a fruitless route so I dropped it immediately.
