im not trying excessively hard because this is a meme bastard game that will only count in my w/l if i win

we've already killed 1 scum, i have no reason to think this game is exceptionally hard, this game is probably just over

i don't have any particular reason to think HEM is scum beyond this vague suspicion from a hydra i dont really trust to be telling the truth and honestly im not interested in it until someone decides they want to come out with hard information instead of vague threats

I guess WePick's vague "70% chance HEM is scum" thing reads to me like a pocket read they hope becomes more clear mechanically, i kinda think they'd be more upfront if they had something like a soft guilty

which is not to diminish WePick's read, but I don't particularly have an opinion on HEM and I have a selfish interest in MY pocket read being correct

as far as Zefiend, their awkwardness could be attributable to this being their first game back on this site in years, I don't deny that

but i think they kinda overreact to suspicion while trying to maintain a jokey demeanor in [posst]471[/post]. that cross of being genuinely annoyed by someone taking your RVS post as suspicious while still trying to be like "lol idc im jsut being silly" is the type of contradiction that comes from scum a lot. you'll see townies drop the playful tone and just get annoyed, or stay playful and not seem annoyed at all, but scum ends up doing both a lot of the time

also idk what they are saying in 548. it's hard to figure out what position they actually have and it reads appeasey. like yes they don't mind mass claim but also they don't want to claim but yes they realize that's suspicious but maybe someone smart can figure out how to work around it. idgi

A. How are wepick communicating? Are you guys using an app like discord or are you talking in a thread on this site? I’d like multiple of you to answer this question.

B. Assuming Pooky’s ability works, it could arguably outright clear them. As it seems unlikely they wouldn’t have made any posts in the scum Pt.

I get the feeling based on stargazer’s info that the mod likes to use loop holes or rules lawyer. So it’s possible Pooky’s abilities are useless, but it’s something to weigh.

The problem in dealing with HEM, is that we're limited in what we can say, in ways that aren't entirely clear, and can't be properly communicated. If we're lucky, Skygazer might be able to say something helpful about us, since drinking has resolved now.

I can say that I personally find the 70% number to be a lowball estimate. I can also say that I do have an answer to HEM's question about whether we know his role name, but I haven't decided if I want to answer that before he claims.
