Ray, please remember to respond to this:
Note that my clock makes it nearly 12 hours, but what with timezones and all I don't know if it's right.julienvonwolfe wrote:In the common usage of English, you may take my turn of phrase as an invitation to expound upon your thoughts. Please note that I didn't ask if you do have thoughts of your own, because I rather thought that that would be redundant after you assured me that you were capable of analysing posts and spamming at the same time.
Also, note that I did not ask you explicitly if you did have thoughts, because that's not the nature of my criticism of you. I am saying that in the past, you didn't give thoughts (instead, you hopped on the Cobalt wagon). Giving some thoughts now is certainly welcome, but not an answer to the criticism.-

It's not amazing, as I've not spent much time on it (SHOCKER! )
Also, I'll answer your criticism now:
I fail.
I'll pay more attention to the game now. ^.^don't you feel silly now?-

RayFrost's GMLLoS
I don't have my fancy symbols, but... I'm too lazy to find them.
Note: I'm feeling too lazy to put a specific order for my reads, so this will contrast with previous LoSes.
~town~
chamber - he hasn't done anything... off kilter with my experiences regarding him.
DoS - his posts seem to be actively scumhunting, he's applied pressure, and his play has shown individualism rather than trying to follow the town
malthusis - early posting isn't great, but his later posting picks up the slack to tentatively put him as a town read for now
Tar - he has :goodposting: and he feels like he's being directly out there with everything that comes to mind. the thread needs more tar posts
~neutral~
UK - I like how UK's done so far, though I feel she's been a bit mild on some things, which is off putting. leaning town but not there yet.
sajin - leaning town due to minor meta, rather sound logic, and what feels like a town vibe from his posts, but the sample size for this is a bit too small to tell yet.
boxman - leaning town via gut, but not much backing here
cobalt - neutral, as he's replied to the case adequately, and there's nothing that stands out in particular about his play.
JVW - on the one hand, he's asking a lot of questions, on the other hand, I don't feel he's saying too much abouthisthoughts on things.
mipe - nothing bad about mipe. nothing good either.
~scum~
konowa - he attacks me for jumping on the cobalt wagon (fair 'nuff) but then rapidly changes to a vote on mipe with the reasoning of... "he needs to die" not liking the lack of quality posting from him (could say the same about myself, but eh), and I don't really get a good feel from 'im
I'm surprised as to how this turned out.
unvote, vote: konowadon't you feel silly now?-

Wth?
I just realized something weird after going through the last few pages: I have had2votes on each vote count. It's been on their for more then one VC, so I'm suspecting it's not just a mod mistake. I definitly have no explanation why I have no votes (it's not one of my powers), yet I have a gut feeling on who may behind this....
Just to double-check:
Unvote All Votes, Doublevote: Cobalt[/b]-

Ray, can you be more specific about exactly why you think Tar's posts are representative of him as town rather than as scum, and also why you felt the need to jump off the cobalt wagon?
I am still confused by the mipe wagon. As far as I can see, it stems from the RVS, and that doesn't excite me. I don't like the way he's continually trying to prove his innocence rather than scumhunt, but I think that's a natural enough reaction with the way people are voting for him.-

These two posts caught my eye the most as :goodposting:
http://www.mafiascum.net/forum/viewtopi ... 39#2013139
http://www.mafiascum.net/forum/viewtopi ... 92#2024692
They seem to be very aggressively proactive in scumhunting (I find proactiveness to be a [flimsy but somewhat reliable] town tell) while also not solely focusing on any specific individual.
Tar's reasoning makes sense, and it doesn't feel like he's just starting wagons on easy people.don't you feel silly now?-

Seventh Vote Count
Welcome back...
Any instances of people having multiple votes in previous vote counts was my mess up, and not the act of someone having more than one vote.
(4)mipe: XXX(Sajin, Konowa, DoS, Tar)
(2)Cobalt: RayFrost(UK, Malthusis)
(2)RayFrost: Konowa(JVW, Cobalt)
(1)Boxman: XXX(chamber)
(1)UncertainKitten: Cobalt(chamber)
(1)Konowa: mipe(RayFrost)
(0)julienvonwolfe: Rayfrost()
(0)malthusis: Cobalt()
(0)Sajin: mipe()
(0)Tarhalindur: mipe()
(0)chamber: UK()
(0)DragonsofSummer: mipe -()
Currently there are 12 votes in play, this means it will require 7 to lynch.
Currently there are $%$#%@ players alive.Last edited by Kinetic on Mon Jan 04, 2010 7:16 pm, edited 1 time in total.-

No, it's me claiming FUCKING ROLEBASED that I know that at least one time-traveling version of John is scum. Where the hell did you get any ideas otherwise?RayFrost wrote:...
and how are we to know if there is another one without a claim?
that feels rather... rolefishy, tar
...
Unless you think that there are at least two TIME-TRAVELING versions of John in the game, then mipe must be scum (since at least one time-traveling version of John must be scum, and if he's lying about his character name then he's scum anyways).malthusis wrote:@Tar: Did you not see the not see the post where I said that there could be 2 Johns? Even my role comes to the same conclusion you came to, but it hints at the inclusion of multiple people named John.
Thanks for claiming scum.mipe wrote:Tar: The fact that nobody else has claimed time-travelling John yet probably means that I'm the only one. And how would I have known to claim John who has timetraveled? Only ways I would know that is 1. I am that role or 2. I am cheater-ish role and got that role as info.
See, I don't think you're lying about being John. I think you're scum BECAUSE you claimed John and time traveler - I have extremely strong reason to believe that there is a time-traveling John in the game.
Hell, you should probably know about it, mister probable-Mafia-Godfather; remember that little conversation pregame, where I made it clear I wanted NOTHING to do with that little plan you proposed?
(I'll probably get killed for this claim, but oh well.)User out of ambit.
