I agree with MME's conclusion from SAMP's posts that Zodiark does not have a gun. SAMP's sudden change of attitude towards Zodiark, from being a lynch candidate at the end of 1 day, to "so obvtown it hurts" the next, does it for me.

What defense do you want to hear from PEG? Is there really any excuse he can come up with to save the constant lurking, save for some content/a clear, concise case against someone else? Couldn't a replacement provide that?

The cop comes out with his first post of the day with a commentless vote on peg. He then yells that we are lynching peg. He posts 3 more times saying we should lynch peg.

But because he responded to my vig claim by saying that he thought Zodiark was the vig, you believe that was his investigation?!?

I noticed his change of heart on Zodiark as well, or I wouldn't have brought it up, but the heavy preponderance of the evidence suggests he investigated peg.

And yes, if you choose to ignore the fact that that is where the most evidence lies, you are defending peg.

Right now I'm seeing a MME-Gant-peg scum group, we lynch any one of these three and I'm happy.

If we want to dig into every post SAMP made after night one, I might also note that he twice made the effort (three times if you count double-posts ) to clearly state "DeathSauce is town".

But seriously the fact that he saw a bunch of deadline wagons, and didn't get on any of them or even comment on any of them, and didn't even try to turn his vote on GD into a wagon, is a

really looking at SAMPs posts it does seem like he knows PEG is scum, either by investigation (which is likely unless he used his powers on Zodiark) or by something in a PEG post we missed. Most things point to PEG right now, and I for one am ready to vote him, only thing is he isn't here and i really would like to hear from him. I also don't know if his replacement (which is probably whats gonna happen) will be able to answer these points against himself.

Argg, first game I last long enough to be prodded, and I get it twice!

Ok, first, I am no longer happy with a PEG lynch. Why? DS is behind it. Think about it. D1, He drops hints about easjo being a hypocrite, and refuses to back it up. D1, we lynched our tracker. D2, he claims vig. D2, we lynch our vig. Now he's pushing really hard for a PEG lynch? When a laidback maybescum pushes, you know it's bad for the town.

Second, anyone notice how, after he claimed he wasn't a vig but a person-who-got-given-a-gun-N1, he hasn't claimed his

actual

role yet?

Third, I don't believe his claim. People seem to forget that GD, though a liar, is still a vig, and there were two NK's N1, not three, and no extra NK's since.

Fourth, this whole SAMP investigation speculation seems to me like a tool for DS to influence town opinion. First he claims SAMP checked PEG and got guilty, then in the same post, he claims SAMP checked me and got clean. Now, he's trying to suggest that SAMP checked him and got clean too. I don't think we should trust maybescum to do our

laundry

investigation speculation for us.

I suppose you provide a fair point, but at least we can actually hold him resposible for his actions. I don't know, maybe it's just my anger that he's further handicapping the town when the game's already got bad enough for us as it is. And it's not just PEG's lurking, I don't do lurkervotes, especially on Day 3, but it's his complete lack of contribution when he actually does post. And it's not like we haven't asked him for contribution, or at least commitment on a vote throughout this game. In fact, I've talked myself into it, PEG does have something he can answer to other than lurking. Why has he failed to commit to any sort of vote for nearly the whole game.

If a replacement comes in, it's harder, and if the replacement is a good player, though it could be beneficial for the town, if PEG is town, it could also serve to only further confuse the situation.

I disagree with Zodiark's notion that DS is behind a PEG lynch. I think I've been the main goer on that case, at least for today. I understand that lynches that DS has supported have not gone too well though, but that doesn't have to be his fault. (not that I'm trying to let him off the hook for anything, I'm still very suspicious of DS)

I agree that he would endorse a PEG lynch but I thought when you said he was behind it that you meant he was the key instigator of the lynch, and I definitely don't think that is true.

When he delivers 3 suspects like that, you can hardly rule out all 3 of them just because he said it. If you did that, then you yourself, would know who the whole mafia was.

I would like to know DS's case against me of course.

The only case he has is that we believe samp investigated zodiark and he thinks that means we're defending peg, which we both, if I may speak for you as well, aren't doing at all. Rather ridiculous and bordering on some weird form of tunneling if you ask me and I'm not sure if we can have that at this stage of the game as it is hindering and distracting.

I'm not liking DS and I wouldn't mind a lynch of either peg or DS.

I considered that we could be dealing with third party...but we're in a normal game, so I'd have thought the only third party really possible would be SK, and we don't have one of those. I think I need to read DS's posts in isolation, because I'm just a bit confused really.

The only thing that makes me believe there is no third party is because most normal games that I have played in have a set up usually like:
3 mafia, 1 SK, 8 townies
3 mafia, 1 town vig, 8 townies

I can't think of a time where there was both a town vig and an Sk in a normal game.
