There was no ultimate argument either way, everyone made really valid points. I am really happy with Pseudo Newbie's reference to A) Sudo's best newbie status B) the fact that he wasn't really a newbie, and C) his name.
Yes the pun is there, and I'm not a huge fan of that, but I think the focus isn't on the pun, the focus is elsewhere. Add that to no other titles really capturing the idea like this one does.
Best Newbie Since '08 gets a special mention for having everything required, but just didn't have the flow.
Decision is made, front page.

I am debating over my current title. I forget but was there a consensus for a new one for me involving neighbor's in the old thread? I am still kinda torn between what DGB, k-scope, simenon, and armlx coloberated to give me and the neighbor phenonomon i spawned. In general i prefer to be given or earn a title though so perhaps what i got reallly is best since i did create alts and enfluence enough setups neighborwise. So i think i'll be always associated with neighbors even if its not in my title or my sig
also i prefered: Best Newbie Since '08
and goon in the palace now sounds better then what i said before
When I joined this site, I was a software tester for mobile business applications and the song PokerFace was not yet written by Lady Gaga
Now I test lottery and gambling software as my job. It's funny how my life has turned out. Somewhere a Time Traveler is laughing madly
Yep thought about it. definatly keeping what i got. I can always add neighbor to my sig if i really need to while what i got still suits me quite well.
ignore what i said i'm all good

Weeeeeeell you're late to that party.
I'm happy to have an open discussion about your current title, or a PM one, let me know which you'd prefer.
EDIT: Disregard the end. Missed your last post.

Mr. Flay wrote:Titles that don't wrap will vary in length, since we don't use a monospace font, and it'll depend on what font you're using for your browser. But Oman's title indicates that the limit will be around 26-30 characters, depending on how many 'l's and 'm's you have. "Assassins in the... nevermind" is about 2-3 characters too long, specifically (sidebar's likely to get a little wider in phpBB3, but probably not that much wider).
Easy solution: remove " the".

Hey, we have only played in 2 games and only been here for like 3 months so far so we don't think we are elligible.
"The minimum threshold for a title is six months on site."
It would be interesting to have a custom title but we haven't been around long enough yet. ^_^

Thanks for noming us though Hohum.
Oh well, I would have seconded it. It was fun replacing you, though.
Okay ladies and gents: Assassins in the yadda yadda is two lines, and that physically seems impossible in our current code.
For that reason I suggest we move onto one line titles.
I'm happy to put
Goon in the Palace
forward, but it really doesn't do it for me. I mean, I accept it could just be me, so I'm happy to roll it through anyway. I wouldn't mind a few people saying "Considering we can't have two lines: I really like GitP."
Go forward and be men. Stand proud. Make something of yourselves.
