Yes. Tomorrow. On hiatus indefinitely. This was a nice distraction when I was working through my faith transition out of Mormonism, but I need to move on to bigger and better things now.

I have a new read on inHim. At first, he seemed absurdly brief and mysterious, but his more recent posts are more indicative of town.
Scott Brosius has been active lurking/coasting/prod dodging the entire game.
-He attacks me for having a weak case and leaves it at that.
-He says he likes his vote where it is. Perhaps because I'm the weakest player.
-His stances aren't major because he's only picked out 2 possible scums and hasn't really mentioned anyone else except in defense.
-I'm surprised he didn't attack me for voting Scorp.
-I think that even on day 1, links have meaning. Not as much meaning as a dead scum, but they're worth something later, when you DO have information. I find your assertions against finding links to be suspicious.
with that said,FoS: Scott BrosiusOn hiatus indefinitely. This was a nice distraction when I was working through my faith transition out of Mormonism, but I need to move on to bigger and better things now.

meta is never a good thing to go off of, its pretty inaccurate.karma wrote:I've seen Beefster as scum twice, and he's never AtE'd like this before. I don't know what to make of it. Chaos is still scum.
does the fact the you didn't switch your vote mean that you still find mr. chaos a more suspicious subject?beefster wrote:with that said, FoS: Scott BrosiusPinky, are you pondering what I'm pondering?

Beefster has to beaskedto scum hunt, says it all
Don't worry, it's ok to be scummy if you're not really concentrating on this game? Is that what you want us to stay that?Chronopie wrote:Sorry about my inactivity. Exams, study, other games in more interesting phases (Such as Massclaim, my own lynch, etc.)
Given Beefster's flip in the other game he's in, and the similarity in playstyle, I'm going to:
Confirm Vote: Beefster<-- If I had another vote to place, I'd ready the hammer.
In any case Beefster, it's claim time.
Karma, I can't see any strong opinion from you on beefster. Just some neutralish comments. Are you leaning scum or town?-

So! You had a long, hard day of trying to pick out a tree to use to deal with the invasion. Selecting the tree was pretty difficult, after all. You had to find a tall one, with sturdy branches, so that the hangman didn't fall out of the tree while hanging, or even afterwards. It simply wouldn't do to have a branch snap and drop the poor sap into the dirt. Then you'd just have to string him back up all over again. You wouldn't want to be accused of performing a faulty hanging or anything like that.
After that long, hard day, you decided you actually need to pick someone to hang on that tall, sturdy tree. To ensure a reasonable and fair decision - the first and foremost thing on an angry mob's mind, of course - you voted on it, and as soon as half of you could agree on someone, you hanged him. And what a hanging it was! Lots of kicking; the best hangman's dance you've seen in a long while. Why, the last time you saw such a sh-
Oh, right, the hangman. You checked his house, his yard, and his person. No guns, nor any pizzini lying around, and definitely no conspicuous shedding. He was really no one of note, other than that he gave you a pretty entertaining half of an hour standing under a tree.
Beefster, atownie, has been lynched.
Night will end somewhere between 70 - 80 hours from now.-

Last night was quieter than most nights. There weren't any crickets chirping, and the owls were exceptionally silent. In fact, pretty much none of the standard nocturnal life made a peep. As the night went on, you felt grimly certain you knew precisely why.
Your suspicions were confirmed in the morning, when you discovered that two among you had disappeared in the night. Sadly, no matter how much you searched, you couldn't find any reason to suspect either of them of any wrongdoing. Someone will hang for this!
Chevre, atownie, was killed.

I really don't like this reaction. No it's not a great situation, but we are facing 2 scum groups. Lynch one and get some lucky crosskills and we will be fine. I remember you had a coy comment like this in Fire and Ice when you were scum, not exactly the same but something I got the same impression of. I believe it was hammering and saying "hope the game is over" when obviously you knew it wasn't.XScorpion wrote:...oh shit.
4 Townies, 4 scum.
This is pretty scary...
Just my initial thought, I will have to reread as my top 2 suspects flipped town.

The difference is, in that game I knew the game wasn't over.
In this game, town is in trouble no matter what perspective you may have or what faction you are on. If we fail to lynch scum today then we either have to gamble on scum killing each other (which makes no sense for them to try to do), otherwise 2 townspeople vs. 4 scum is pretty much gg for town.-
