I think almost all the replace-out posts are often meant to say something town-ish, in order to head-start their replacement. No matter the alingment.

Well, good players (i.e. players actually willing to play the game but unable to) will often try to leave on a high note, like a "sorry everyone" note.
If they leave pissed off, they will half-ass that "bah" poat.
