Eden of the East Mafia is in need of a rather quick review. Flavour knowledge is very handy. Apart from one mechanic ehich could make the game rather swingy, its a fairly normal set-up.

I'm looking for 2 to 3 experienced Mods / set-up designers to review an upcoming Mini Theme game. It will be probably several months before it begins.

No flavor knowledge is necessary. I'm looking for reviewers with an eye towards role interactions in a fairly heavy PR environment.

Let me know if you are interested and I'll PM you the information.

Sure, I'd appreciate it. I don't care when it is, I'm modding a game currently.

Im looking to mod a large theme based on simple vote mechanic shifts. Im fairly sure that its balanced but want a few people to look it over just incase.

Would anyone like to take a look at my Breaking Bad large theme setup? It's big (45).

No. I am new here, but I mod elsewhere and I am going to be active here and hopefully mod here once I have enough site experience.

I wasn't going to post the request here because I am so new but I was on scamchat and they advised it. I can assure everyone I'm not looking to exploit the site for advice. I will be active.

That's not it at all. Just since you're new here I'm going to warn you that getting a 45-player game going might be a bit difficult.

Yes, I've heard. I'd like to try it anyway. I had one mod look at it and she says she thinks it will work for the site and be fun.

Of course, by the time I am able to mod it, I will have played on these forums for quite a while and modded some other games here. If I am lucky, I will gain a good reputation and people will want to play in my games.

If I can find a way to cut it down while still keeping the balance, I will. That's one of the reasons I was asking for reviews.

More info: It's a deep theme game.

I have modded other big games (45+) on other sites all by myself, which much shorter turnover time for gameplay, so I am not really worried about the workload.

Who exactly looked at it? lol
45+ would be very hard, IMO.
I've never seen more than 28.

One of the mindscrews had more iirc. I had 27 for my first large theme and it filled relatively easy. Still to jump to 45? Wow, I don't think it's do-able. 30 probably is, 32? MAYBE. Still no harm trying.

I'll have a look at it when I'm a bit less busy if you want. Aka next weekend.

Wasn't there a world war mafia, or some kind of shooting mafia game where everybody had 1-shots? MS has had big games in the past, but no one signs up unless it's a guarantee it'll be a quick game.

Primate looked at it.

Someone mentioned that the Civil War game had 50, I think.

Like I said, I will reduce if I can keep it just as balanced, fun, and theme-coherent.

Faraday, when you are ready to look at it, just let me know. I will give you a reminder if it's been a couple of weeks and you've said nothing.

Anyone else interested in looking at it? There's no rush, obviously.

i was wondering if anyone could look over the setup for my first game, that i will mod when i can finally enter the queue in 22 days. it was going to be a mini normal, however it was going to be 'hyenas vs zeb-ras mafia' and i was going to add flavor as such. all the roles are normal and everything, and the flavor would have nothing to do with whats actually going on between the players, except for their deaths. is it likely that this will be ok?

also, how long does it normally take to start modding a game when you enter the queue?
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Amrun: Pm it whenever, I may not respond immediately but I'll look over it whenever.

Pappums: I'd think that'd be a mini-theme, but I'm not sure. You'd have to ask the mini normal peoples (Hoopla's one) about it for sure, I think the restrictions were lessened lately but not sure to what degree. I can review your game for balance if you want though, although not sure if the review group do that anyway?

Mini Themes aren't officially checked for balance by the powers that be, as far as I'm aware.

Right, and Pappums' first game has to be either a MN or an Open.

Dammit, I can't mod a Large Theme yet. So I made a Large Normal setup. Reviews, plz ^^

Sorry for asking so much. If it means anything I have about 10 set-ups sitting around, so the reviews haven't gone to waste.
