Yes, but the only thing you're searching for is survival tells. And I know lots of players that don't like dying anyways.

I'd like to bring up Empking's Jester setup again. I'll

2 Mafia

1 Jester (Wins if the town no lynches while he's still alive. Dies at the end of Day 2 if he's not already dead.)

1 One-Shot Vig
1 Doc
5 Townies

All factions are mutually exclusive.

Does anyone have any issues with this setup? So far, neither the regular Jester Mafia nor Paris Mafia have fixed the problems with Jesters, but I believe this setup does.

I also changed the Jester dying during Night 2 into making him die at the end of Day 2 if he's not lynched. I just like the idea that he dies as instantly as he loses the game; it feels better, rather than making him into a possible NK target on Night 2.

A survivor can still genuinely hunt scum. Scum can't if there aren't multiple factions.

Furthermore, he has the ability to watch someone at night, regardless if anyone sends any mail. He is a survivor. (For an additional challenge, make it so that if This Rupert Guy is killed, nobody can nightchat.)

This Rupert Guy is from some game called "Earl Grey and This Rupert Guy". Go play it.

I like most of this, but when This Rupert Guy dies, is it really worth for everyone to not being able to nightchat. Mailing could be a really swingy mechanic.
