Ah yes, C-Worl, the player who suggested the policy lynch in the first place, thus wasting a huge chunk of the town's time, despite having to know that a policy lynch based on an on-going game would never be allowed, and then started kissing my ass when it became clear his friend Charlie who followed along with the policy lynch is likely to be lynched today.

I was gonna summarize my thoughts but then Umbrage posted and hit them dead on. I will admit that these aren't my original thoughts. I've just been won over by the argument that was presented.

The other reasons genius. Asking people why they're not voting is never a good thing in my opinion. It's D1, not everyone has posted yet, few people have done anything to draw attention, and most of the people who have can be written off as null tells. Asking why someone's not voting seems like they're antsy to get the day over with regardless of who gets lynched.

Obviously, not everyone can be online constantly. I mean, I`m on a good portion of the time as the mod/a few players can attest, but sometimes other things come up. Sorry bud.

It serves as a reminder of my supported policy lynches. It is specific to this game (I do not generally support policy lynches: depends on lots of things e.g. game size)

I seems unnecessary to post your "self note" on the forum useless you are trying to guide public opinion a specific way while staying under the radar yourself. This is supported by you yourself stating how it is pretty much usless to do.

I very much agree with Cojin on this issue. It is unnecessary to leave yourself a note IN PUBLIC about who you support as a policy lynch this early into the game, or at all. If anything, a note like that should only be issued if and when you vote him.

At the moment, I'm not sure who scum is. I'm terrible at d1 analysis. FuzzyBeavers doesn't seem that town to me at the moment, but as I said, I'm not sure yet.

I've seen buddying, i've seen OMGUSses, i've seen reverse scumhunting (picking someone and looking for things they could use to lynch them), and, in general, a lot of stuff that would be considered serious scumtells in epicmafia. I've noticed that things are slightly different around here though, so i'll try to catch on as best i can, but for now...

You need to back up your words with a vote. Otherwise, they're empty and hollow.

Why there's otherways to pressure word's are a good way as well. How is it hollow he brought up a point (which i was going to make pulls fist up). The only thing empty and hollow is your defence and questionable vote (aka a policy lynch).

Anyway, I read the thread. I'm seeing the case on charlie - his posting seems a bit off to me. I could summarize it, but I don't really feel like doing so. Just to give an example, his last post:

hasn't explicitly accused a single person all game

. He's implicitly accused people of being scummy (calling something omgus, etc) but has not acted on it at all. And yet, simultaneously with doing this and voting on a policy lynch, he "aggressively demands more voting." Charlie, if it isn't an alltown wagon, then who on it specifically is scum? Who are your biggest scumreads?

Pine's pushing for a jindori policy lynch is null in the end, I think, but
