It seems everyone here has a reason to vote anyone as scummy and what is considered scum is completely subjective. By trying to persuade others of your view on who is scummy (the point of this game), we see insight into how you think. A LOT of the posts here, however, attempt to quickly categorize people into alignments. As if anyone here would be so obvious, is my thinking. A lot of assumptions going on here, many of them wrong.

Also, it seems you can break down everyone's logic into not making sense, except your own. Wow. There's a word for that.

what are the 3 scummiest things you've seen so far?

Being new to the MS world (which is VERY different to the mafia games I'm used to participating), I find these 3 things suspicious though I will admit they are more culture-shock points on my end:
1. Listing a table to see who's scummiest. This is a game of wits and instinct. No math equation in the world will tell you who's scum. period.
2. Insisting someone is scum for sure ON DAY ONE WITH NO NIGHT ONE! Seriously, how can anyone be 100% sure?

I know that's only 2. That's what I got so far. Everything else is just trying to get a feel for people's playing styles.

People throw around accusations all the time, sometimes because they actually do think a person is scummy, and sometimes just to see how people will respond. There is nothing scummy about insisting someone is scum on Day 1.

I agree that insistence isn't a scum tell. But insisting that someone is 100% scum on Day 1 with no Night 1 falls into the scum category for me. just my $0.02.

I agree with some of you that a day shot Vig claim is solid, especially on Day 1 and is no reason top lynch. Off the bat, I will

I'm not convinced on where my vote should go to next. I've leaned towards a Cecily lynch, but that doesn't seem to garnish any support at all.

We have the explanation for Thor's triple targetting dilemma. He's a neighborizer, with the ability to make neighbors whoever the hell he wants.
Night 1 he neighborized Ctorj and pappums because he defected on his night deadline.

I really can't believe some people here think I am scum becasue I was neighborized. This is poor logic and very scummy, IMHO.

I have trouble voting Thor because he did the whole "neighbor" thing with me and others and I was with a confirmed townie. Not sure how that is scummy.

After catching up, I still like my vote where it's at. My opinion hasn't really changed much.

With so many people throwing the question of "Who are your Top 3 townies/scums", I'd like to finally throw that question back at someone else. But that'll be next next post.

summarize why you are NOT scum. I know you can make your argument in just a few sentences. Shorter is better for me.

The only post I saw worth responding to is one where they said it was a "tell" that I was neighborized with pappums rat and then he turned dead the next night. That's not a "tell", that's an event. Seriously, you're scraping the bottom of the logic barrel with that one.

Someone also asked what did we discuss. It wasn't much unfortunately. He took a very cautious approach at first about why I neighborized him and I said the same. As we talked more about who we thought was scum, I felt confident he wasn't scum. Since he died, there's no one to talk to in the little chat window thingie.

I have consistently and unrelentingly hunted scum all game. At least half the players in the thread have, at some point or another, fallen under my scrutiny. I've confirmed Calcifer as Town (something that has zero scum motivation) and revealed the results of my investigations without being asked to do so. I was fairly instrumental in exposing Farside, which tricked the opposing scumteam into doing the Town's job and killing her. I am a Town-aligned investigation role that

Ctorj, Thor wasn't scum, he was technically third-party, so he had no buddies that would defend him or not be on his lynch wagon.

I use scum in the general sense. Someone who is not for the town. He was an SK and that's bad too, semantics aside.
