Killing a source of kills that's been targetting townies is ALWAYS a good thing. Simply bc if we direct them and we're wrong then we end up continuing to barrel toward LyLo. If we eliminate a known source of kills that we know is done by a non town aligned player then we can slow down how quickly the game is moving and take more time finding the other faction.

This is NO different than a mislynch. In fact, it's BETTER than a mislynch, since directed kills ARE A FREAKIN' SECOND LYNCH.

I made this quite explicit when I posted about the Garm lynch.

FlavorYou and the rest on the vacationers were shaken up after the horrid sight of quadz and Eldritch Lord. Everyone argues, but one man sits next to a palm tree talking to himself. You all turn and notice him one by one and notice that something's a little off about him. He was a drug addict by the name of Pine and you suspect that he took a little too much of the green that morning. Everyone so far has been killed in barbaric, frenzied, uncalculated ways, so you put 1 and 1 together and decide to lynch Pine who you feel is the only person who could kill that sloppily.

However, halfway throughout voting for him, you notice he starts to get more frazzled. He seems to not even notice your presence. After some time, he stands up and flips out.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. WHAT ARE YOU ALL DOING?! KILLING ME WILL SOLVE EEEEVERYTHIIIING! IT'S LIKE THE ANSWERS TO LIFE ITSELF! THE CLOUDS ARE OPENING UP AND THE LIGHTNING WILL STRIKE DOWN. COLORS, MAN. JUST WATCH. JUUUUUUUUUST WATCH!!! YOU JUST CAN'T....EVEN...IMAGINE."

You all stare blankly. "...what the hell are you saying?" you say, breaking the silence.

Pine strips off all of his clothing, runs around in circles, walks over to the sea, laughs, says his final words in an indistinguishable alien language, flops down face first and drowns himself.

You're all stunned to say the least. This man was insane.

Checking his hut, you notice that it's....completely bare. Not even a single piece of furniture. No food. No bags. Nothing. This man was just a normal person and the past few days has made him crazy.

You all retire for the night, because if someone like him turns out how he did...just think about how anyone else will turn out. All you can think about is how terrible of a mistake it was to come here and how much you want to go home. Unfortunately, the boat doesn't arrive for a week or two. You're not sure if you're going to start going crazy yourself.
