I'm lost for words over how terrible this post is.

Twisted wrote:1) not easily. No. Gut maybe

Is Sea really your best read right now? Who are the top two people you find scummy right now (As in, actually scummy, ignoring gut-reads), why are they your top scumpicks, and why is Sea a better lynch than them?

Twisted wrote:2) I've played with set before. Set played similarly

Have you ever played in or seen a game where Set was scum? Did he play the same way then?

Twisted wrote:wicked convinced me not to. He had a very strong town read on JJ

How did Wicked convince you not to? Was it due to a case he made in Jedo's favor or just due to his list where he put Jedo near the town spectrum?

Setael town:

How is this town setael and not scum setael, TS?

No. Wagon speed and wagon ease can often give you a good idea of people's alignments. Seacore grew 'too quickly.' Packbat was voting me, so was seacore, both presumably believed I was scum. Twisted's vote was MISERABLE. AV was about the only really good vote on the seacore wagon.

Basically, the wagon hit L-2 FAST and with almost no resistance, and it came out of nowhere. That's... a bad sign.

I feel like I've answered this 3 times. It was both. I thought his posts starting the Krypt wagon were scummy and then my scum read on him grew with every post he made. There were definitely certain posts though which stuck out, all of which I've posted about.

Scumminess of the voters and quality of the votes is a large part of it. I can't help but think that their line of thought is: "Seacore is just going to flip town and then they'll be on the 'wagon Jedo' plan for day 3 anyway!"

Also the fact that to date not one person has moved onto Setael from the Seacore wagon when quite a few moved from me to Seacore (despite there being no realistic way for me/Seacore to be a scumteam) is good.

no, but wicked's reads are probably better than mine, or the scum wouldn't have killed him

Last post prior to my V/LA

I'm gonna VOTE: Seacore now since I think that he's the scummies person around ATM. He's behavior overall seems scummy to me. TS's latest post on the other hand is something that won't place him in my town-read pile.

Unvote
Packbat has at least started the promised re-read.

I'm just not comfortable with the way Seacore leeches on Nacho. Any particular reason why Nacho specifically?

LlamaFluff wrote:How often do you see scum meta defend an actual townie from one of the players that normally forces action in a game in private such that no one else notices?

Defending a townie is a valid scum strategy. Standing up to one towny player can a) buy scum town cred, b) take a townie with a dead scum and c) buy scum an ally. I see no reason why this would be different for meta reasons.

Pre-edit: L-1 vote came while I was writing. Not hammering, at least as long as there's good discussion going on. (Both Seacore and Set are still good lynch targets.)

Yes but this is not who good scum defends town, its far more indepth then that. My basic tactic when defending town hard is either when its manditory because of my meta, which is very unusal since even my tells such as the VT one I applied earlier I keep the details of close enough to my chest. Now the biggest reason is looking down the road a day or two. If townie A is getting flack from someone who you think you can get mislynched on day three/four, then you want to defend townie A with the logic of the actually would be able to buy you a vote on the attacker later down the line. Its a very complex thing really that you are oversimpifying here. Also it works like a charm from past experiences.

Cool thing here - If TS is scum, I would put a big bet on BOTH Pack and Grey being town. No way TS kills wicked if grey is scum and wicked (read as town to most) has a strong town read on him.

Vote TS

Okay, so I'm at L-1. I won't claim until somebody says they're willing to hammer.

Sigh. I'm always suspected early game. People should check out SAIII, PYP, Cults of Shadow and Darkness, or really any game at all that I've ever been in. If people leave me alive long enough I usually help find scum.
I'd point to some scum games to provide some counter-meta, but I've never ever been scum.

I find Set's suspicion on me, based on my first vote and case on Krypt to be interesting. So I'm scummy for finding something that was suspicious and reacting to it. We were still in RVS, I pulled the game out of RVS and started making a case. How is that scummy?

Also, somebody asked me why I follow Nacho? In Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Nacho and Fate became an amusing/painful voting block. But from that, I learned that sheeping Nacho when he makes moves to start big wagons is a good way to get some reactions.

Also, it's great having three of my scum reads and two V/LA people making up my wagon. Feels good. Now everybody else who is actually pro-town in this game can vote somebody else.

Doom and Llama, I'd be cool with a TS lynch, as I've said, but I'd prefer a Set lynch, any reason why you guys aren't for it?

You
Set
Twisted
Packbat

I've said this before.

Thus, three of them are on the wagon, one of them is off.

As for what I've done to push them.
I pushed for your wagon.
I then moved to Set's and am currently back there.

I've pointed out why I find TS scummy, twice now, and have said that I'd be happy to have the lynch today.

I've voted for Packbat, supporting Nacho's case.

None of this is news.
