Yeah I know. But then I remind myself this is a game we play for fun, and this was fun.

Objectively speaking, we probably did no worse than your average 50-day Day 1, and though one can argue we have less information, long day 1 aren't ever re-read properly, so they are counterproductive in some ways. That's how I choose to console myself, the alternative being hitting the bottle.

On the plus side, Fate and silvanor are town.

I will miss Moonbeams whatever his alignment though.

Plus, you have to consider how this game looks like it will play out. By my calculations we could have upwards of six corpses tomorrow. Honestly, I think a longer day one would have just added to the confusion tomorrow.

On a sidenote, I used to hit the bottle too. but then I realized that you could just pull the cap off... so much easier on my stomach without all the broken glass in it you know.
