N1: GEHIRN recruits me.
N2: GEHIRN attempts to recruit Nocmen, fails, gets a flavor PM that basically boils down to "you try to recruit Nocmen but an Angel got to him first".
N3: GEHIRN attempts to recruit Kawaii (lurker not likely to be lynched, eh?), who dies instead.

We'd have claimed an innocent on SpyreX if not for the flavor scene at the beginning of D2 making it very clear that a Magi had been recruited (and thus ensuring our eventual demise) - we foolishly assumed that this had to be referring to us, so we figured if we were going down anyways we might as well take out the strongest Town player in the bargain.

Okay, in case there actually is a cult and I'm recruited tonight, I'm posting this. Because fuck the cult, I have a town win condition this means I win with the town, period, end of story.

CJ isn't a bad player. AT ALL. He claimed scum yesterday for a reason. Either it was to hand us cult speculation after Amrun's silly claim D1, and he's an Angel and he wanted to see if he could get a nocmen mislynch (FYI the angels corrupted two computers still v possible that CJ is trying to confirm Nocmen town here). OR it was because he's cult, and we were endangering his win condition.

He's shielding someone. Maybe he's doing like me and jestering himself to death in protest of having a win condition changed, but maybe Kast and/or Stevie or another person we were likely to lynch after SpyreX day 2 is the recruiter.

It sounds like you are claiming that voting and then nuking without unvoting was WIFOM. Which also makes no sense.

I think cult, provided that it is actually the cult, and given that it can only recruit from the town, is basically a modified town faction. Or that's how I would've implemented it. The claimed relation to SX, whether it's true or not, indicates it's not true this time.

I think CJ's relation to Stevie's claim re: SX is relevant for obvious reasons.

I'd actually totally forgotten about that page 1 cultspec, AND that Amrun was in this game.

GreyICE's spec looks good. I could see Stevie's "give me one day" thing as a cult claim in retrospect, especially since his actual ability doesn't justify it.
