I was posting at 3 mins to deadline how much analysis do you reckon I would get in.

I have a null scum read on david the scum part is on the Sky push. Based on what I have read of peregrine I have a townie read so I choose the lesser of my 2 reads.

I was asking to see if you had thought about it prior to making the vote or if it was simply a 'I don't want to lynch Sky' vote. Seems it was more of the latter. Hopefully we will be ok for another day with the NL.

A jailkept target is protected from kills, not investigations.. so a Gunsmith would have got a result, at least under a standard JK..

Im not lynching Sky over role speculation bullshit. Especially when its a cop-like ability, especially when we havent even caught a scum yet, especially when we arent even near end-game yet. Any of you assholes calling for a Sky lynch are scumbags, period.

Looking at the vote count, I see Locke, Peregrine and David, how convenient.


Using the Day 1 vote count as evidence, its either David due to Shadow being an off voter or Locker for being the only scum on the malp wagon. Even with all of that, I suspect David a hell of a lot more.

No. But, in a game where we havent caught any fucking scum yet, its scummy for you to want to string him up so bad regardless of a mere technicality, which essentially boils down to mod guessing and setup speculation anyways.

Its the reason why I refused to lynch him. You instead pushed for his lynch, HARD.

Xanatos' googley-eye expression and the "why exactly are you voting me?" is really dodgy - and I think it's more a guilt anxiety as well. Just is what I would go for at this point. Maybe he could've been genuine about pointing out the flawed mechanics on another game, but in this game, I think it's scumminess.

What's irking me still is Locke. Locke Lamora basically also balked at the Sky claim and did nothing. The trouble is that I'm not sure if two scum would simultaneously want to stick out awkwardly and want to both scream at the other Town to go back on the wagon. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. Not a sure-fire tell, but that's my hunch.

I don't think voting is sensible at the moment with the likelihood of mylo this phase and without hearing from both Rikana and SRG who were both absent from the end part of the last day phase.

Well, at least now we know that Sky wasn't lying and we can clear IS, i've yet to read through from where i was last at but will do so today and post thoughts. Sucks that we may be in MYLO but hopefully we can bag us a scum tonight and get this game going in the right direction. Again appologies, i completely missed the end of the last day phase it was nmuch harder to get the internet than i had thought but i've moved into my new place and virgin has installed it all for me today hell, the bills even all up to date! so that's at least 2 months until i get cut off even if i don't pay my bills!

Sorry, thought I was in a rush. Basically, there are instances when scum ask this question to claim naïvete of the setup, but from a Town vantage, it's a really dumb and pointless question and thus gains nothing for the Town players.

I still think David's objections to Sky's claim looked legit. It doesn't look like scum trying to hop casually onto the lynch. He really stuck his neck out and explained why he thought it was a fake claim. If he wanted to sheep easily onto the lynch, he could just have followed my case. He was completely wrong about the role, of course, but that's not the point. I think Peregrine's vote was the scummier one on the wagon, and I'll probably be voting him, but I want to do a re-read first.

^ Funny, Locke is my #2 suspect as David's Scumbuddy. Sounds to me like the scum are sprinting for the finish line here.

It really read as genuine to me, IS. Just seems like an overly risky move for scum to make when there were plenty of perfectly good reasons to lynch Sky anyway. Maybe David is scum and was just trying to force the lynch through, but if there are 3 scum it wouldn't have won them the game anyway and it quite obviously makes him a target, so I don't see the point.
