Listen, let's not call it forced, that has so many negative connotations. Its just a welcome surprise!

Every title other than cockblocker is terribly forced and stretched. If he doesn't want that then none of these are any good.

We need to take a step backward. Cockblocker's good, but let's go back to the original event. Kinetic stops a game from going because of an obscene picture. There've got to be funny ideas unrelated to cockblock.

I can't think of anything which has the same snap to it as Cockblocker. It's quick, it's sharp and it's to the point.

It really is undeniably perfect. Kinetic should wear that title with pride.

I'm seeing a pattern here.

If nobody can come up with a good title it's time to move on.

It's not good as a title if the recipient doesn't like it.

I don't mind a title that might refer to it, but I'd prefer if certain words were left out, 'tis all.

I'm concerned future employers might eventually find or ask me to disclose any or all of my internet accounts. As this is one of the sites that I'm very active on, I'm sure this would be included on any list. While I'd stand behind most of my history, I'd like to avoid explaining why I might have a title like that. At least if it didn't have a word such as that I could explain it as a fun story, but I'd prefer to have them interested and get them more interested than have them confused and suspicious (as such a name might do).

I'm asking this in the name of honest curiosity, but do you know how prevalent this practice is?

(If the answer is "very", well... etc.)

It depends on the job. Government jobs that require a security clearance? They may very well do so. Your average employer? Very unlikely to actually ask you to list internet accounts. That's not to say they won't google the crap out of your name though.

Yikes, giving a government employer the address mafiascum.net...

This. Its possible I may go into such a job in the future. I'm not sure the exact likeliness, but its better than 0.

The practice is becoming more prevalent though, and is not limited to just government employers. That being said, my brother (police) had to, and I'm sure I will eventually have to as well.

For a security clearance I can understand it. For a police department it just reminds me of this. For everyone else I have to wonder how much they want to know about your personal life (it's easy enough to find co-workers backbiting with simple facebook searches for their name).

Also, what Xalxe said.
