2. Got a rather complicated large theme that I'd like reviewing. (Its essentially just at the level of complexity where the designer is unable to judge balance

on account of not being able to see the wood (setup) for the trees (individual mechanics)

I mean this constructively.

Stop describing your games this way. I know that's what you think you enjoy in a game but to everyone else on the site it sounds like "inexperienced mod with a fucked up unbalanced bastard game".

I'm not saying I don't want to play, although I don't. I'm saying the one you describe your game probably sounds fun to you but to anyone who has been here for more than a few months it sounds like a trainwreck waiting to happen. Whether or not that is true I'd try to keep from putting the idea in players' heads at every opportunity.
