Well consider this a RVS vote that was decided by you trying to get reads. That made absolutely no sense, but I don't care.
After a break from MafiaScum, I am back, and limiting myself to 2 games at most at one time.
Let's see how it goes.

I thought we were not in RVS...
And L-1 is dangerous for the reasons that Mattman mentioned, also it encourages people to claim and then PRs are exposed. Generally it's not good to leave a lynch opportunity hanging there; at the very least, it gives mafia a chance to end the day and limit discussion.

Sorry for the limited input; I've been busy. Expect more by Friday.

Neither L-2 nor L-1 is inherently scummy. It's the posts and the content of the votes that determine the scumminess. For instance, I find Duckhunter's vote more eyebrow raising than Kondi's, as Duckhunter added to his vote a "Lol, it's RVS" get-out-of-accountability free card.

And I can't say I can personally empathize with Smallpeople's decision to unvote. What's to worry about? No pro-town player hammers in that situation. Unless you're scum on a buddy's wagon? Or you're scum who doesn't want to be blamed for a mislynch? Meh. I suppose there was some confusion as to the vote count, so maybe it was the right thing to do, but I'm having a hard time seeing how a genuinely inquisitive townie unvotes there.

I still like my vote on Apple_Singer. The first one to squawk at a RVS wagon is, in my book, a great place to look for scum trolling for a townie to 'blame' and mislynch.

What about Dsquared? I know him personally, can I prod him through Gmail chat?

(All I would say was that he was prodded in JK9)

Prodded. :(

This game needs more pressure. So, we should start pressure voting.
Pressure votes =/= Scummy. It depends on the activity of the game. Pressure votes tend to bring up players back when they are being inactive for the past. Nevertheless, scums might pretend to act as "pressure votes" to put someone at L-1/L-2, so that other town can either bring the person to L-1 or being hammered. Beware.

VOTE: Apple

This is where I would place my vote in the interest of moving the game. I agree with Pads' reasoning - while the idea of the first person to squawk at an RVS wagon is new to me - it makes sense. Woe be unto me if I'm finding logic in a scum argument.

Scum would make an observation as Pads noted. It sets them up to make arguments down the road - for or against specific players. They can say "Look! I suspected them day 1!" etc etc.

What does everyone think about this? Please provide input - this game is only solved by talking.

Well I don't think "squawking" at an RVS vote is scummy; at the very least, it's the only way I've seen conversation started in my 4-5 mafia games. I consider this more town than scum.

I agree with L's agreement with me.

I see, on a similar note, that Apple agrees that Apple is not scummy.

I feel like I'm not sure what you're saying here. My best guess is that you don't think the early wagon was scummy, but that Apple's opinion that it was scummy was not unreasonable and Apple was subsequently voted up without valid reasons. Am I close?

Well a) Where the heck is Dsquared? I know he's been active on another site...
b) Well, even if I have negative attention on me, my play to get some non-RVS conversation worked. I feel that this conversation isn't particularly helpful, though...

Mattman, kondi and duckhunter are going to be prodded.

I think Dsquared or his replacement could be scum because if he was active on another site he could have been just lurking.

Initial impressions:
Pads
: First off the early duck wagon. Scum probably would have either pressed the matter or more likely just let it rest, with a comment to the effect of desiring pressure. Seems to be exploring leads as they come about.
smallpeoples343
: General weak Townread. Uneasy about the quick Apple wagon.
apple_singer
: Perhaps Town. The careless votecounting in #24 suggests Town, but can be feigned. Quick-wagoned without justification.
[L]
: General Townread. Could have quickhammered duck and easily pretended "Oops!" but this is not outside the realm of WIFOM. Persues good leads, asks insightful questions, shows deductive reasoning with Mattman and kondi, though I disagree with the conclusions. Not a fan of the Apple vote, as I don't see sufficient reasons, especially when she already pointed out good reasons against kondi.
Mattman
: Called kondi out on scummy wagoning, could be bussing. Not enough content, too much fluff. That's consistent with what I've seen of him elsewhere, though. Update: Unlikely to be buddies with kondi given kondi's reaction.
duckhunter4242
: Town. That early wagon built up entirely too fast and with entirely too shoddy reasons.
kondi2424
: I dislike the very early "You're Town" @ Jon. Seems contrived. Additionally, the jump onto Apple's wagon also seems calculated, rapidly putting him to L-1 sans reasoning. Retaliated against mattman for presenting a valid point. Mattman and kondi unlikely to be buddies given reaction.
JonWJ007
: Second candidate for scum at this point, primarily because of putting duckhunter to L-2 on the first page of RVS. Careless at very best and unacceptably scummy at worst. Also some subtle rolefishing in #19, suggesting that one should claim at L-1 when he'd just put duck there.

In other news, UNVOTE: duckhunter since that's going no where. I think that we need activity. I support a lynch on kondi.
