hmm, less than a day to deadline. for the record, i like a kirbyoshi lynch better than a Shinki lynch. however, that being said if it comes down to it, i will move my vote to the Shinki bandwagon as a townie being lynched is better than a no lynch. (if you don't understand why, just ask). it seems the town is pretty split on this decision, so i'm curious if & where DLE is going to vote.
I was going to self-hammer if no one changed their minds until near deadline, because I understand a townie lynch would be better than a no lynch by this point of the game.
I'd prefer DLE make the decision, since he's the one I think most likely to be town. I think it's 17.5 hours before deadline, so he may still have time. I think it'd be best not to self-hammer because I will very likely be around before deadline to hammer if no one else has. So, out of LyingBrian, Fakinha and I, it is extremely unlikely that it will end in a no lynch.
ok, lesson number whatever... NEVER self-hammer. it robs the town of information. i understand you're frustrated Shinki, but you potentially just lost us the game, b/c how people act when the pressure is on, is a big part of getting a good read. i'm not saying i disagree w/ your reads, but we may have gotten some extra information on DLE if you had not self-hammered. although, i might switch Velazanth for DeasVail for scum. DeasVail recently had a great post which i thought was extremely pro-town.

Brian: If Shinki is town, I will be very confused. When I got over my confusion, I would look at DLE. Him asking if Shinki was claiming cop was in retrospect kind of off. Then he completely disappeared around deadline, perhaps to shirk the responsibility of being the hammer.

this is the wrong mindset. even if you are correct, you are sacrificing information for your own satisfaction. your move was incredibly selfish, and is another item on the list of how unhelpful you have been to the town.
And no, kirbyoshi, I was not shirking responsibility for a hammer. I had a debate tournament this past weekend and wanted to reread today to see if any discussion developed. I want to symbolically VOTE: kirbyoshi as this was how I was leaning prior to this self hammer shit.

I spent earlier today reading all of shinki's past games on here and a couple of kirbyoshi's, and essentially decided that shinki was town trying to push a lynch when she really didn't know how to + felt under attack by people pressuring her. I read kirbyoshi's seeming defense on the logic against deasvail to be an indication of kirbyoshi being scum, as in none of his prior games that I read would he really audibly disagree with something against someone else. His posting meta of short posts is consistent, but the tone of them isn't.
That's interesting, Kirby + DLE team seems viable. Maybe even more than Kirby + Deas.

3 to lynch, kirby is scum in both situations so that would be the only thing to do. 4 alive at night, 3 at day start, DLE and Deas will vote themselves at this point of the game, and the other remaining townie will have to make the right choice. Our fate probably lies in Velazanth hands after all. -> This is the worst case scenario for the town, hopefully we still have a power role of some sort that makes things easier.

it's easy to come up w/ an excuse & a vote after the lynch has occurred. this doesn't really tell us anything about your predilection to whom you really were going to vote.

also, although anything is possible, you usually don't see scum self-hammering and still proclaiming themselves town, even in a newbie game.

i agree with this. provided kirbyoshi survives the night, i definitely will be pushing for his lynch tomorrow. if he doesn't, i'll have to reassess the entire game.
I don't think that DLE is likely to be scum. Shinki, Kirbyoshi, what is it about him that you think makes him scummy? I don't really agree with his absence being a reasons because there's still over 2 hours before deadline as I'm posting this.

I think that you would be best, as I really only feasibly see you/shinki, fakinha/shinki, or kirbyoshi/shinki scumteams. Velazanth and shinki I can't really see together, and Deasvail...ehhh. I don't really see that. I particularly like a lynch of you because I could see you in night phase telling shinki to push a kirbyoshi lynch, and then you did damage control. I see that as more likely than a shinki/fakinha scumteam, when I honestly believe that their interactions were because of them being friends. Kirbyoshi/shinki I could see simply as an attempt to bus a partner gone horribly wrong, as well as both generally not being very helpful as town. However, out of all of those, I like the possibility of you and shinki together best.
