I've placed one RVS vote on this site, and I was scum that game. Anyhow, how does this make me scum?

You have placed more than one (ongoing games shall not be named, but feel free to look). It makes you scum because you are LYING about your "I'm not placing a random vote because I think RVS is useless"

It would be equivilent to someone looking through people's meta every game but this one where they say "Pfft, I hate meta, it's useless".



Kondi, it has been explained already, day 1 is not so much a red herring as the "special mechanic" is. All it determines is whether we are going to play white-flag mafia or not.
Here are the scenarios:

1. Scum is lynched. Town dies n1. Day 2 (4 town, 2 maf): White Flag Mafia (we need to lynch 1 scum)
2. Town is lynched. Scum dies n1. Day 2 (4 town, 2 maf): Normal Mafia (we need to lynch 2 scum)

Now, this isn't as strong as I thought it was since I now know there's a slight advantage to lynching scum D1, but it still applies. Since D1 is simply a red herring, we could use this day to get rid of the least valuable player, which seems to be between me and Whiskers. VOTE: Whiskers

Okay, I honestly don't get what I'm supposed to understand here.

After a little research, a Red Herring is used to throw us off of... what? Related (sometimes considered synonymous), "Chewbacca Defense"-- used to confuse people. I'm not sure that's true, but this setup is weird, so let's assume for the moment that this is true.

I cant help but notice that this is a total deflection of whiskers's question.

I was thinking similarly pregame to what kondi was thinking with the list. It's not a bout liking people as much as it is who will be a bigger liability to town (and who could still be scum). Whiskers has already been scummy so she would be hard to resist lynching later when it truly is mylo. We get rid of weakness while still scum hunting. Make sense? Do you not think scum is going to get rid of their weakest player?

just the way he's been acting makes me think that he'll be more of a hinderence for trying to find scum since I feel that he will eventually begin distarcting us from the real scum, though I doubt he's scum.

Juls, you claim that Whiskers is scum. Based on interactions alone while reading this game, who do you think is her probable partner? It doesn't have to be a case, just a guess will do.

Kondi, maybe you're trying to do something that you think is for the benefit of the town, and that's fine. But your play is FOCUSED on the list of people who are apparently the "worst" players. Please just tell me who you actually suspects\have town reads on, not who you want to get rid of because you think they are the weakest player.

Glass is a town lean, Kondi is a town lean, Whiskers could be town but I'm not sure. Trevor, Guy_Named_Riggs, Muffin and Juls are the people in my lynch pool so far.

Actually that is rather personal, and has nothing to do with my alignment in the game. It's a shame, too, because Cats are better than just about anything. I started out as a cat. Ponies are just a thing-- somewhere to belong.

I think you realized you were about to get a lot of attention and rethought it. Then, you questioned matt for not talking about me in his post while you gave me a pass. I didn't like the buddying.

Yeah, I look back and read, and what you say is fairly stable after all. It's a misinterpretation, or a misrepresentation, but you can't know my intent when you read something and I totally see how you came to the conclusions you did.
