This obsession with mass claim is seriously anti town. !!!

1. It distracts from Scumhunting and 2. If SK + Docblocker are not lynched massclaiming cannot break this setup.

GNR : Go ask Quil/Whispersilk. They seem to have some idea. Also look at the past games.

Bionic, what experiences have you had with Norman? Evidently you still thought Quil's ideas were scummy, so why the unvote?

Also, the criticism of his strategy is pretty bad. There are /always/ unprotected players, regardless of massclaim or not.

1. Can't discuss at this time. The town read of Norman outweighs the scum read of Quil. My read on Quil's play wasn't an OMG found OBVSCUM moment by any means, but was worthy of exploration and a P9 vote.

2. Yes there are always unprotected players, but the mafia don't always know who they are. I prefer for the strong town players to not die just because someone else is vig.
The above written statement is pro-town.

We have a major issue. As long as people are discussing game theory, scumhunting will be very difficult. Theory is easy to discuss from either alignment, so you only end up flushing out those weak at theory. We all need to get back to questioning people to determine their motives and alignment.

kdowns - You still have your random vote up and have made posts with minimal content. You seem to be coasting by.

I've read ISO's based on the latest list of votes, top to bottom.

Awesoma(now bionic): His low count of posts makes it hard to get a read on him. However, the few posts with scumhunting content do bring some odd things. For one, he makes several contradictory statements ("Norman is scum, but i don't want to lynch him" and "Fitz is neutral but very town"), one of which is actually completely refuted by simply checking another ISO. Fitz has several posts advocating a Norman lynch, how Awesoma can still call him 'neutral' is unknown to me. Now, Bionic replacing in complicates things. I feel I should comment first on #221, specifically point 2. Here you state that it would be dumb for Mafia to link us to a gamebreaking strategy. I disagree, as you can see that the idea of a massclaim that would break the game has already moved several posts away from the scumhunt. People aren't even considering the fact that the strategy doesn't work with a Docblock, and this may have been a way for scum to get some free kills. Overall, however, Bionic leans town for me, and as such complicates my call on this slot.

BBmolla: #53 contains the gamebreaking strategy, see the Awesoma read for reasons as to why I feel this is a null tell. BB, up until #121 you were pretty adamant that Norman was scum; calling him out on his odd statements, on his OMGUSing, on his singling out of Awesoma. Yet, in #121, 3 posts after you call him out on his Awesoma read, he's no longer scum but VI. During those 3 posts, Norman had one and it was simply him avoiding having to post links to his previous games. Could all those early posts have been coaching on BB's part, trying to get his buddy to stop being an asshat?

Reply box is screwing up (I have to use IE at work), so i'll follow up with another post.

BB continued: So, once you're off the Norman wagon, you quickly get onto the Awesoma wagon. You state
This is not "I think he's scum, let's lynch him," this is "he's annoying, let's lynch him"

Concerning Awesoma's reaction to Norman. However, weren't all your posts and vote against Norman effectivly fueled by the same reasoning? Is it not "He's annoying, so he's scum, let's lynch him"? You then throw kondi and GNR into the mix, but state that you feel kondi is the most town of the three thanks to her active posting. Except, you know, how all her posts are three words, and I counted maybe 5 or 6 where she talks game and hunts. All in all, BB is leaning scum now.

Fatlikepony: He's a brony, 'nuff said. Also, he keeps trying to
greentext
(I'm colorblind so that may not actually be green), so that's cool. Seriously though, he leans town for me, just seems to be scumhunting and such.

fitz: Fitz gets on Norman's case early on, and I get it, I would be the same if I were here. In fact, as I was reading the thread I had a compulsion to lynch him for much the same reason Fitz felt the need to. It's a little bit of a tunnel, until #136 when he has a nice breakdown of BB's post #129. Nothing else really jumps out to me, so I'm null on fitz.

Also, from the preview I apparently have a vote on Daftnarwhal, i'll
unvote
that

Also, it's pronounced DJ pony, the 3 is like a newfangled E, and I'm a guy.

No, you see, the error in my question was wording-related.

Kdowns- So you left an RVS vote out there for no reason other than to see how long it would take for the rest of us to notice that you
had
a vote out?

Quilford- I'm sorry, maybe it's just be, but I don't understand your plan. You want our Vigs to claim, and many of the doctors to protect them. Then you want more doctors to protect the vigs' target? So, basically, you want us to only rely on day lynches, while scum (and SK for that matter) can pick off unprotected doctors. Also, your solution to counter claims is to "lynch among the clears", effectively making the only real pro to this strategy (ie. two confirmed vigs) irrelevant.
