Shit, that new AI is too good. A fucking creeper was able to get to me from behind the fence as I was going along the path to spawn. Because of the fucktastic lag 1.2 has I wasn't able to disconnect in time before it exploded.

Luckily only like 3 blocks got destroyed :V


Fuxdamnit. Not even OptiFine can do shit about the lag I'm getting. I have to constantly hold down Ctrl when playing Minecraft just to get a speed above 5 fps.

Yeah I am getting massive lag both locally and on our server. Right now Minecraft is unplayable for me.

Your guys' lag must be local, I don't get near anything lag-wise.

When you say it's lagging, do you actually mean that? Or are you just getting general slowdown?

Normally for me it lags much less on servers (especially Maru's). But it isn't like that now. I'm getting full blown lag all the time.

One reason it could not lag on my server but could lag on this one is that my server runs on a gig of RAM and this one is only a quarter of a gig

Yeah, people need to differentiate between slow downs (low FPS/freezes) and lag (when you break a block and it reappears, mobs not responding to attacks, etc). They are two different issues - the first depends on your machine, the second on the server's machine/the connection between you and the server.

For me, I used to get some lag in 1.1, and it seems to have gone. Slow down is worse than it was before (but obviously that's not anyone else's problem to deal with). Slow down can be helped by changing graphics settings - particularly viewing distance, in my experience.

I get tons of both. Lag is especially prominent when it takes me at least 3 tries to open a gate because it closes instantly after I open it.

So, besides Maze I inside spawnville, I have added prizes to Maze II (by Xalxe, in Skytown) and Maze III (by izakthegoomba).

Maze III is REALLY hard, then I made the prize worth it. But don't go mad!

I have a variety of words:

- izak I hate your maze it is evil and you are evil and I ALMOST turned around near the end (you know what I mean)
- Whoever blew up/broke the doors to my house in skytown, you put one back on backwards. You fail stealthiness forever.
- I suspect that the world conversion has moved our spawn point; my compass took me to the middle of the fucking woods. Plague, where did you spawn when you logged onto the server?
