I'm very excited about Halo 4. Everything I've read or watched about it seems like they're planning on doing all the right things (at least campaign-side, I haven't been following the MP development too much), I'll just be worried until its actually out that they will fail to execute like they should.

Any new on a legendary edition yet? I want to make sure I pre-order so I'm not left out like that crap with the ME3 collector edition

Yeah I am waiting for Legendary Edition news too BS Angel said that this news should be coming really soon. As for the what they are doing with the franchise I think it is brilliant! Tying in multiplayer with spartan ops which in turn ties multiplayer with campaign. It is definitely going to help improve their numbers considering how many people will enjoy making their player unique and see that unique player in the campaign/spartan ops/multiplayer. So many people are up in arms about what they have planned for the multiplayer, but all I have to say is it looks beautiful! The movement and less aim-help is going to make this awesome.

Funny you posted this, cause I just happened to log in today because I got an email that I got a PM from someone, and it turns out I had a few PMs I hadn't responded to yet... and then of course I had to check the Unicorn thread <3

All that to say... I may make an appearance!

Things in life have gotten a little better and though I still don't have a lot of time for stuff I might come back and mod a game on here some time this summer or fall, depending on some things... and I still have that dark forum skin somewhere that I can probably finish in spare hours... that'd be a nice return gift, if I do end up deciding to come back.

Wednesday nights might actually happen for me again! w0000000 YEAH BABY

now to just go buy another xbox, and halo reach (or maybe i'll just skip to halo 4 when that comes out)... lol

I just ran a dozen mafia games inside halo with some people I randomly met.

Half games were won by town other half by scum so balance was perfect

Guy with most points was deemed MVP (technical solo winner because of how zombies works in halo) and that did go to person that played best and it was only me twice. Other people won it too who were newbs so game balanced in regard anyone that plays right can win! Looking forward to playing mafia and halo with you guys next wednesday

Rhinox there isn't a legendary this time, only a regular or limited edition. And as Jahudo says Limited Edition bundle ends up being only $5-$10 extra tan buying the regular pack and the map packs separately. But you get so much more too, especially if you like to have avatar customizations, a 90min extended edition of the live action series Forward Unto Dawn, and the Armor/Gun skins.

I am going to be double checking with my local store to see if they have a midnight release, and if they do I will be pre-ordering! I have also managed to get 2 days leave

There used to be 3 editions in the past. For H3 I got the middle one. I really wish I woulda got the previous legendary editions with the art books because now those are impossible to get without shelling out hundreds of dollars.

Yeah I was going to be buying the legendary edition too, I think 343 somewhere along the lines have announced an art book to come out separately. I think I like it like this as we don't have to pick between 3 editions and possibly regret not buying the better edition down the track as you said.

By the sounds of it I think 343 has the halo universe finally under control and no ends untied, so I think models and books will come out in time.

Ive been doing a lot of area (gold divison) as Pink Earth Pony recently if anyone wants to ever do some of that, but seriously. Just area/TS. Im not fan of other game types.

Although we do normally play a lot of SWAT, Multi-Team and BTB (depending on how many people we have on), there has been some talk about making a competitive team for Arena

I myself prefer TS above all but have made do with SWAT for the Unicorns

Celebrate thee ol' Bungie Day (edit: that is 7th of July 2012) in style, by playing Bungie's swan-song Halo:Reach!

UNICORNS ONLY!

Tournament will consist of 5 games played on 5 different maps. First to 25 points wins game. Ordinary SWAT not Unicorn Swat - as in leader still has DMR.

Person with the highest combined player rating at the end of the 5 games wins. (Remember kills and assist are more important than not dying - so will encourage people to go for kills not stay back)

1 or 2 Warm-up games on Asylum/Pinnacle (to sort out host)

Then in this order:
Countdown
Reflection
Swordbase
Boardwalk
Paranoia

Prizes:
There are prizes for first three places!
