izak spawned above the bedrock layer in the nether. The fact that he can build up there gave me an idea.

Claus, can you creative mode yourself so we can destroy a little hole in the bedrock layer above the nether?

You can create a portal then make a correspondign one in the real world to always get up there.

its because of the new updated world height.

FYI: getting stuck above the bedrock isn't anything new by the way. people on the mafiascum server had to be rescued in the past.

It is kinda cool that you can get there and back with nether portals now though. It used to only be a glitch.

Yeah, that's what I was trying to do with my portal-on-a-waterfall thing, but it redirected to another portal.

Trouble is, I don't have any Obsidian on me, so I'll have to wait for Claus.

Well if you tell me how you got up there I could bring you some obby I already have in a chest. But its probably likely claus will get to you before I can anyways

I just logged out while I was in the tunnel to the blaze farm, and when I logged back in I was on top.

I've had the glitch happen in the overworld (dumping me above ground when I logged out underground), and even in the nether, but it's never put me on the top before.

I've had it happen to me in single player--actually, I went to the End and ended up on top of the structure there.

can anyone explain why after i found this:

when i went to mine it never dropped anything and then suddenly lagged me back to before i found it? it continues to show up when i mine the three blocks that seperate me from them but continually don't drop and then lags me back. this is on marus server btw.

Sounds like general lag. Your client is letting you move and break stuff, but it's not getting through to the server. Then when the server realises what's going on, it puts you back where you were before.

Yeah that's what I figured. The weird thing was that after I posted that I reset my wifi connection and tried to get there again but the ores weren't there.

That's our anti-xray plugin.

Its a bit glitchy right now. It'll be fixed soon.

Basically, if yo usee any ore bodies that look too good to be true, they are.

To make it quicker, can you direct me to the path you glitched through? I know the nether road from skytown to spawntown, so if you can give me directions relative to that path it would be most helpful

I was in the tunnel section of the road to the blaze farm. If you're coming from Skytown, just head past the spleef arena portal and UT and IUT's area. You should see the tunnel, with a sign.

Uh, does anyone know the seed for our world? The debug screen says 0, but I know it's something different.

The escape portal will take you back to spawn town

(ignore the extra obby failed portal, I messed up the dimensions the first time and didn't have a diamond pick)

((PS to do the glitch, sometimes it does it on its own, but if you log out and have someone place blocks where you were, it will respawn you at the top of the first free block at that location, so at the top of the nether if its all filled in above you))
