Or you could, you know, actually act in a pro-town way and respond to people's legitimate concerns about your play in a rational way, instead of going through every single type of emotionally manipulative BS you can think of to get people to not lynch you. "You'll feel bad when you lynch me and I flip town" isn't going to work, and neither is the "Oh, poor me, Yos is bullying me, just look at our join dates".

Pro-tip: the "You're bullying the newbie" defense may have worked for you in the past, but it gets really old when your join is 5 months ago.

Scum do NOT often take an immediately post-RVS case and run with it for pages. You might see this behavior in less than one of any twenty mafia games with competent, attentive people. Scum have a tendency to chime in on formed wagons riiiiight about NOW in the gamestate, or lurk behind their RVS vote until there's enough content to compile a case.

Yes, clearly all scum follow the exact path you just laid out No one in this game could possibly smart enough to deviate from it. If you want me to vote someone besides Vi, you should try something productive (such as make a better case against someone than your case against Quilford), instead of whatever that mess was.

It's 3 pages tops; not asking you to meta me or anything, but it's stupid to lynch someone on page 3, and I just destroyed a town that did it to a VI. Shos, while he may be a VI-scum, is still a bad idea to lynch. The guy in Mini 1318 literally claimed scum, and he was still a townie.

I agree that it would be a bad idea to lynch shos. However, I don't think any player except maybe shos himself saw the wagon going anywhere, and I don't think you're an exception. As such, I see your words and unvote as oppotunistic white-knighting.

However, you were also the first to draw attention to Parama, who I'm also finding scummy for claiming scum. Frankly, I wasn't comfortable calling him out on it due to knowledge of his meta but Vi's vote gives me more confidence. I'm not sure what to make of your interactions with him.

a) Just because their reasoning for Parama being scum is valid doesn't mean he is scum. That's what mislynches are. :)

b) Getting shitty gut reactions does not equal thinking someone is scum. This is the same mistake that Nuwen made and the resulting argument which it spawned has completely consumed my recent posts. I'm at a loss as to how you've missed them.

I am very serious about lynching shos. I won't lie, I have pulled the white-knighting thing as scum before (the game was deleted), but I am really genuine in my reasons for not wanting to lynch shos (yet). Namely, because I just won a game as scum where we lynched town Day 1 in 3 pages and town never recovered from the suspicion and infighting brought about as to whose fault that was. If I was scum, I kid you not, I would have ridden his wagon until death did us part.
