Take this from someone who has been down that path. It isn't worth it. What did you lose? Pixels in a game? Your time?
I know it must have taken a long time, but bringing your feelings from a video game into the real world will only cause you more problems. You have the right to be mad. You can tell him that you are mad at him for what he did, but don't let this ruin the friendship. It isn't worth it. Don't resort to physical violence for something in a game.
A year from now you will laugh over this moment. It is hard now, but it is really only a minor blip in the grand scheme of things.
I'm going to be away next weekend, so no event. Unless someone else wants to host it, but Xalxe will have to sort the whitelist for you. I don't want to go giving EVERYONE ftp access.
In a fortnight, if enough people are interested, I'm thinking of doing that Enderdragon speed run.

Ok, I kinda forgot, we're also going to use a plugin affecting mob spawns for the Survival Games. The creator recommends that it's done without mobs, or with them to make it VERY challenging. So to keep it interesting without totally overwhelming you all, the ONLY hostile mobs spawning will be Zombies. Also the only passive mob will be pigs, because wolves and cows are CRAZY OP for this kind of thing. I'll put some extra arrows in the starting chests to compensate for the lack of skellies.
And that Skyblock thing looks AWESOME, please tell me you'll run the PvP version!

Maybe I can look at it to run two versions, or ask the dev how I can duplicate the plugin whilst renaming the command or something to allow for a PVP and a Build one.
Tbe build one is more fun, as you are likely to die, multiple times, repeatedly, in an endless cycle. But the PVP one (Should really be called PVE) just adds in that extra rule of "Oh and you can only die such and such times/restart such and such times"

It might be a bit laggy, as I am running it on 256 mbs.
If its popular enough, and I can get some people to just chip in, I will keep it up just like that, 100% basic, and not complicate the server whatsoever. AS is, the server will expire towards the end of June.
I've spent hours flying around checking it all out so that I can host it. It woupd be unfair for me to play. On the other hand, if anyone wants a rematch next weekend, just let me know and I'll load a fresh copy of the map for you.
And I'm decent with redstone; I'm not exactly sethbling, but I can do logic and memory cells and piston tapes and that kind of thing.
