Ok, I've built a simple Melon Tower by the animal pits. It doesn't give you much yet, but I'm working on it.

It's not the prettiest thing in town, but I don't think it's hideously ugly.

Yeah. And with my design, you don't even have to walk around to pick up the melons.

Bread may be a bit better, but the speed at which you can gather a huge amount of melons more than makes up for it.

Bread is 4X as effective as melon slices, meaning you'll have to eat 4X less often.

Steak and Cooked Porkchop tie in at an effective value of 20.8, followed closely by a bowl of soup at 17.6, then a 6-piece cake comes in as a whole at 14.4, trailing which is a golden apple at 13.4, closely followed by chicken at 13.2, with bread ringing in at 11, and a melon slice coming in at a measly 3.2

an effectiveness value if 2 is equal to 1 full boneythingy in the hugnerbar/saturationbar

you harvest for 3minutes and plant for 4 and you get a stack of bread

they heal the same amount.

Also, a well-made melon farm can be expanded indefinitely. So it may be three stacks for Chesskid's melon farm, but if I built my farm right up to the sky limit, I'd get a crazy amount.

Hunt for the Enderdragon

On Saturday 19th May, we'll be playing Minecraft in a brand new world, aiming to kill the Enderdragon as a team in one evening. As usual, we will be playing on my server, starting at 18:40 British time. The idea is that we'll set up a base near the spawn point, and you'll be allowed to carry on if you die, until we leave to find a stronghold. If you die after that, you're out.
