The Nomination Gambit is when scum self nominate to lead the town down WIFOM Road.

In glowball's nomination mafia, the scumteam nominated two of their own (Fate and some lurkaderp) The town wound up lynching the lurk. The third was found and lynched. Then, the next day, Fate wasn't re-nominated. This led me to believe he was town (under the argument that it is in Fate's nature to gambit and he wouldn't have been able to resist). Turned out Fate had forgotten to send in his noms, they were totally random, and Fate pretty much gave up at the end and tossed me a win.

So NomGambit = scum self nominating

I come to the same conclusion I came to at LYLO in Buffy Season One: I know myself to be town. If bird flips town, I have a 50/50 chance of stringing scum tomorrow. If I assume both scum didn't self nominate (Psyche and Om), the I still have at least a 50% chance because that means either staeg or brain or both is absolute scum.
