@Splitfarvle, with not much to go on, my vote was more to get a reaction that to lynch scum. As our votes are our main tool in the game as town, I feel we should use them to put weight to what we say. In early game, it's not so much for scum-lynching, but more for the game to progress (beyond RVS).

This seems reasonable, but I'm not sure I buy it because you never followed up on it until you were pressed to explain yourself. I also find your case on Elmo hyprocritical because you've admitted that you yourself haven't been into the game and providing content. Besides your case on Elmo, you've just been posting excuses and defending yourself.

I think you're scum.

Defending yourself isn't scummy, please elaborate why you think it is in this situation. You said he had a case, isn't that more than others have been doing? Why so fixated on hoops for being "guilty" of this?

Not much in the first 6ish pages, pushes against my slot, boring arguments with Amrun. The above is the first real interesting bit and I definitely agree with Sotty that it looks forced and fake

And I simply meant I wouldn't be surprised if there was a scum on his wagon, maybe even two (since one scum sometimes follows the other's vote) but you guys got all angry. I wasn't even paying attention to the people on his wagon at that time, I was just saying he was way too "newb town" to have a legit, nonscummy wagon.

Pet peeve of mine and complete fluff. The whole "I BET THERES SCUM ON THAT WAGON" is probably true for 96% of wagons just by simply probability. It's a useless empty comment that scum can use to then justify a later vote/lynch.

Wow, that's actually a great point on accident. I forgot Elmo previously suspected hero when he made that PL comment.

You can't really "policy lynch" a suspect, and that wording makes it feel like a really disingenuous attempt at simply killing hero in any way possible.

drmyshotgun, I'm not thirsty for blood, it just seems like there was a reason he wasn't lynched yesterday and that's because he's scum and his scumbuddy wouldn't vote him. Or something of the sort, I'm not sure.

Also, subtly pushing hoops as scum while arguing that I'm pushing him as a mislynch is fencesitting in the biggest manner.

I was on this topic and was refreshing for new replies then realized there were new replies just on new pages.

As for not hammering hoops, I am so bummed that I didn't, but I didn't check the game. I didn't realize deadline was so close, and I saw Sir Bastion's thing about he would vote in the next three hours if hoops didn't respond, and then I was busy and not at a computer.

Also this is questionable. Bastion posted that at 10pm before deadline. You then posted a graphic hammer at 12:38 am and had ample opportunity to hammer. You then posted in another game at 2am, proving you were still on the site with plenty of opportunity to hammer......

I just get a weird feeling from the NK and the immediate comment from Amrun SCUM TEAM MUST BE NOOB DUE TO THAT KILL. It looks overzealous and almost too excited that she set this framing up.

The problem I have currently is that Amrun is doing good scumhunting, and the two currently on that wagon are hardly beacons of town. Bleh, I need to think about this more. Considering I'm currently at L-1 and have been for some time, may as well claim. VT

Yes, I checked it at that time, showed my support for the hammer, and then assumed SB would make good on his word. Tbh, I forgot my vote wasn't on hoops already, but it doesn't really matter.

And yes, I remember that hero had said that thing about SB. I haven't decided what to make of it yet. I had a mild townread on sb.

You are doing a lot of "forgetting".

The whole hammer business is much different with a small open game with limited scum such as this. I think it's more damning (and advantageous for scum) to allow a NL to go through, especially in this kind of setup. If you get a NL of any kind, you essentially deprive the town of two lynches, as we can now only get to MYLO, and we will be forced to NL again. That is not taking into account the advantage of the lack of information given by a D1 flip. It is MUCH more advantageous for scum to allow the NL to go through, than to hammer in your spot.

That is something only players with more experience would recognize though.

With two scum alive however it doesn't compromise the slot either way.

b. "Forgets" if she suspects hero or hoops, votes hoops in the same post
2. Suspects Elmo on D1, yet eager to quicklynch a player who flaked D2 without mentioning a case on Elmo

I misunderstood what you said. Makes sense.

Also I think the cop should claim with his result tomorrow (assuming he is still alive). It is highly doubtful that we will get more than one result, as an even-night cop would have to live to N4 (which at this point would be the night before LYLO). It also either 1. finds scum with a guilty or 2. gives us two clears and potentially some NK WIFOM if the doctor is still alive (choosing between cop or cleared player or forcing them to NK someone not as town-appearing)

I'm still torn about Amrun. The suspect behavior is there, but I'm still not thrilled with shotty and split being the only players on the wagon but I feel good enough about it.

It is certainly out of ordinary. In all his games where Chrimi buddied with me, he was Town.
Maybe he thinks that I'm out of ordinary, but I'm not really feeling his love on this one. Thus I suspect he's not on the same side as I am on this game.
