acqueline Champollion was arrested by the authorities during working hours, in plain day and under the shocked gazes of the tourists. She too had been quite shocked as the police barged into her office, handcuffed her and said that she was to be taken into preventive custody as she was suspected of the murders of her father, of her friend the gentle night guardian, the German scientific expert whom she had worked well with, and of destructing a precious antique. She, who had devoted her life to restore art pieces; and after her father's murder, swore to do everything she could to confound the culprit. Surely it was a mistake!

If that was the opinion of many of her colleagues, Mme Honorine, the librarian of the Louvre, however was not displeased to see Jacqueline treated thus. It has always been her view that the Champollion brat was nothing but a daddy's girl who had profited from her father's position to obtain a job in the restoration department. That was just the bourgeoisie's way of doing things and she had always been indignant about it.

Now that she was gone and her job had opened up, maybe she'll be able to see if there is any opportunity for her brilliant son ...

Day 3 ends.

Hiraki,
Jacqueline Champollion
, was taken in preventive custody. He was a town art restorer.

Night 4 starts now.

The deadline is set to Wednesday June the 13th.

orning rose as bleak as a sad duck's plumage. The grey, unseasonal weather had been there for weeks. But if the skies were uncooperative, the mood in the Louvre museum was greatly improved. Indeed, for the first time in three days no one had died at night. Even the newspapers had turned their focus onto the more pressing topic of the ongoing legislative elections.

The socialist party, after the success of its candidate at the presidential election last month, was in the process of conquering the parliament. The last time a left-wing president had been in power with a majority at the National Assembly was in 1981.

However, in typical French way, the media were decrying the "bipartisation" of the political landscape, denouncing the Americanization of the system. The traditional 'centre', representing an anti-liberal humanist right-wing, had sunk to an all time low of less than 13 projected parliamentary seats, whereas the green party and other left-wing movements, including the communist party, were announced to total no more than 25 seats; with the far right regaining entry into the assembly with an anticipated 3 seats.

But perhaps those matters were not the primary concern of the people involved in the mystery of the Louvre murders.

Nigh 3 ends.

No one died.

Day 4 starts now.

The deadline is set to Friday June the 22th.

a restorer does sound like a doc. I wonder if there's any meaning to the fact that he was 'taken into custody' instead o dying.

flavor doesn't look of any help in my eyes.

The night ended early. This makes me think that the mafia team consisted of only 2 members, so now that Furc is dead, once the lone mafia sent the kill, the night ended. 10+1+2 setup works for you guys? this would also explain the double kill last night.

since nobody died..is there anyone who has any valuable information that wins us the game?

In post 1164, Hiraki wrote:
The murderer had this medallion before, as he dropped it after he committed the murder. A vision of a tricolor flag(white isn't a color bitches) And finally, a man cutting his cape and muttering the word Martin.

These visions then end, oddly. I am left to ponder on them.

That medallion seems to be called 'medaille saint martin'.

Would imply mafia shot a BP (Shos, SK, not mutually exclusive at this point) while the SK no-killed or shot another BP. I'm going to assume town has no more preventative powers left with the RB and doc dead. Considering massclaim.

Rolecop needs to tell us if anyone lied or has an unreported ability.

Massclaim might be a good idea; it would be nice to figure out what's going on with these kills. I kind of doubt anyone would have tried to shoot the claimed bulletproof last night.

I'll wait until we get info from charter and anyone else before voting, but still think we should have lynched Magua yesterday. With Hiraki town, and either 2 or 3 anti-town roles left, the odds of Magua being town seem to be close to zero here.

Better question, who are you that google/wikipedia accepts? I tried Françoise Dupont, but that's not a real person to either of them.

well I did not claim full BP, so at least one might have shot me. it's always kinda wifom - even if I did block another one, am I 2-shot? or full? or what etc.

I support a magua lynch a tad, but I'm debating with myself over stuff, so we'll see.

Rolename is Françoise Dupont. I work for the Brigade Criminelle, the french police.

I have no idea if that's a real person you can find on google or wikipedia or whatever.

Funny that ducks are mentioned here. Sad ducks at that. Sad wild ducks cooked in honey and garlic.

I actually -do- have a few things to say. (I mean, aside from the normal report about Nuwen being scum - check out that massive question dodge between 1808 and 1809.) But as for now, you can enjoy the taste of the aforementioned duck (alas, you will have to do so without me) and in the meantime give good consideration to roasting this turkey:

Vote: Nuwen
(L-3)

I've already looked up Yos's role. If you can find it your Google-fu will be superior to mine.

What map do you mean? There is a picture in my role PM; a black, white, and grey surrealistic portrait

I'm not 100% sure about the gender, looking at the portrait. Short black hair, kind of surrealistic looking. Looks like a charcoal sketch perhaps.

I'm actually trying to find the portrait on google images right now, not found it yet. I'm guessing that picture in my role PM is not be a portrait in the Louvre. (shrug)
