That's a totally sensible course of action from DS & Windrunner.
Ganking the Jungle blind while 4 heroes are missing from the map is a surefire recipe for failure.
Especially when two of them have on-demand invisibility and can be following your every move.
P.S. Terrible supports blame bad teammates, good supports make their teammates great.
Battle Hunger makes people cry.
Yes, it can do next to nothing if you use it poorly, but it deals lots of damage and obliterates supports in teamfight standoffs.
1/4/1/1 is the way to build Axe.
Battle Hunger is one of Axe's best skills, it forces enemies to commit fully to an attack because if you try and run away BAM say bye bye to 300 - 600 health.
The trick is knowing when to use it properly; BH is very easy to waste and turn into a useless mana sink, but when wielded properly it destroys dudes.
Battle Hunger is great for punishing people with poor lane control and/or last hitting skills and forcing fights later on. I can see why you'd think it was a mana sink if you were using it in lane, but that's not how you should really be using it.
Basically Battle Hunger is a tool that forces the person you slam it on to either attack something or take a big blob of damage. Forcing that kind of choice on an enemy caster or support can right royally fuck up team cohesion.
I thought it was a mana sink way back when in the before times, when it was widely regarded as one of the worst skills and something you skill levels 22-25.
Since the multitude of buffs, this is no longer the case.
It's ESPECIALLY good in the laning phase.
It doesn't matter if they are the king of last hitting if you cast it on them as a wave expires. They're forced to take a considerable amount of damage without any chance of removal.
It doesn't force anyone to attack you at all though.
It might force them to burn some mana to ensure they kill a creep, but they won't ever turn around to kill you unless you are literally the only thing in reach and it's actually slightly possible that they could kill you.
The major downside is that it's still expensive as hell on a hero with mana issues, but that's why Arcane Boots were invented. Tranquils and a Soul Ring could also suffice.

That's the point; if you're using it and you (or your allies) are not the only available targets then you've probably used it wrong; the spell forces a choice between attack something or take damage, good usage ensures that the 'something' is
Except there's the 25% spell resistance... (30% in wc3 I'm sure) So at best it's only 450dmg over 19sec... Then you factor in hp regen in that time and yeah. Probably works nice on squishy heroes that have no handy creep-killing spell or OOM.
Unless I'm still going by my old WC3 ladder logic in that the damage said is normal not factoring in hero resistance.
That speed buff they added in makes it much better though.
Also just saw 25% speed buff added for his ulti and lols.
I would be curious to see a BH axe played right now, since admittedly I'm still viewing things from my antiquated wc3 Dota perspective.
