I asked you how it was scummy in a lovers setup?

Your main case is that she over reacted to a vote...

IN A LOVERS SET UP WHERE EVERYONE IS A LOVER WITH SOMEONE ELSE AND THE MAFIA ARE ALL LOVERS WITH EACH OTHER!
How is that anything more than null?

@ Grey, both are responses to 42 and 44 I'm basically defending the behavior that Argula called out in 42 and then reacting to his more through line in 44.

Basically you are voting me for a defense...

I get that you were responding to someone.

I was asking you why you were making those responses. I asked you to EXPLAIN them, not DESCRIBE them.

1) Where do you have a history of the questonee ignoring your questions, and why do you think that was happening here? What questions were ignored? Do you feel that behavior is scummy (was it coming from scum in past games)?

2) You've played mafia in Newbie games and on other sites. In that time you've used RQS, long cases on flimsy backing, and other techniques to move things through the early game. You did none of that here. Why? I do believe it's because you don't want to attract negative attention, and RQS attracts negative attention frequently. As do other things.

But as town you wouldn't give a shit.

1. I believe you will find in my most recent newbie game (which is ongoing so I can't discuss) that exact scenario. As to your second question, I was specifically trying to AVOID that from being repeated, it hasn't so it's all good, my actions are preventatory not because it's happening (I have found in past games (some of which are lost in the crash) that people will forget or ignore questions if left to far back. I will have to decline to respond to the final two questions as the game in question is ongoing. (However, yes I do find that scummy.)

2. Actually my start of game style here you can find on the other site I play mafia on. I decided to try not doing a RQS in this game. (I believe you can also find me not doing RQS in my first game on site) but instead RVS which is something I often do on my old site. Also unlike the other games you mentioned this one is going slow enough that I don't have a longwinded case to build. However, I have been pressuring Argula if you have not noticed as I find his behavior scummy.

I can link you to five cases where I do RVS and no RQS on the Other site as town. Actually 90 percent of my games on the other site are that scenario.

I don't want to fish for who your lover is, but I'm trying to base individual reads off of people, and Malee's reaction was scummy. But even if your lover is who I think it is, that doesn't mean that you aren't faking it and you are really scumbuddies. Her overreaction is more likely to come from scum than town.

Please explain how so and how it was an over reaction?

So far, I haven't seen you able to say anything more than "It's scummy"

You sound like scum called out for a false read and trying to defend it but not defend it.

SHE WAS OVERREACTING TO MY VOTE ON YOU AND SAYING IT WAS EXTREME TO PUT SOMEONE AT 2 VOTES. SHE ALSO THOUGHT MY UNVOTE OF HER WAS BECAUSE OF YOUR POST, WHICH IT CLEARLY WASN'T. SHE ALSO SAID "SCUM GOT OUT OF THEIR HIDING TO COMMENT" ON PAGE 4. SHE IS TOO SURE OF HER BAD READS AND SHE IS SCUMMY.

Now do you understand? You have been beating this subject to death. Can we move on now?

Arugula (2): The Acting Method, Fennin (L-5)
Malee (2): Arugula, Yellowbounder (L-5)

GreyICE (1): Jal (L-6)
SnakePlissken (1): Slandaar (L-6)
The Acting Method (1): GreyICE (L-6)

With 12 alive, it's 7 to lynch.

Fun fact: I'm here to kick ass and chew bubblegum. And I'm all out of gum.

Aru, you still fail to understand that it's not the vote on itself that I find extreme, but the poor reasoning for it. I'm also not certain at all you are scum, but your stubbornness is annoying and noted.. And a bad read doesn't make someone scummy.

This argument has become highly confused.

Arugula's original vote on TAM was nothing to get upset about. TAM was being impatient, and had silly reasoning for voting people; so they wouldn't dodge questions. But he had no reason to anticipate a dodge. Arugula's vote was just as silly as TAM's vote.

Malee how is that "extreme" in any sense? Also please explain how putting two votes on someone is scummy.

@TAM I agree with GIce that those post seem odd. It seems in #43 and #45 you were not completely serious about your "ANSWER NOW" votes. But now it seems like you are standing by them firmly.

It's extreme to vote someone because that person is impatient and eager to play, yes. And I never said that putting two votes on someone is scummy, but joining a bandwagon without any valid reason (not even "pressuring" someone), is!

Only as extreme as voting two people on one page so they didn't "ignore your question." TAM had no reason to suspect they would ignore his question. If they had posted after he asked and ignored it, voting them to force an answer might be warrented. But you don't just vote someone just because you want to ask a question.

Also this doesn't show eagerness play.

Really?

In post 45, The Acting Method wrote:tbh I'm bored, and I can't think of any thing I can use to boost activity and get reactions to get reads from. I'm pretty much "Ask questions as I need to, get answers" I mean I could ask the "What Timezone are you in?" question so I have a basic idea of when people will be posting so I'm not as bored but I'm not really one for Reaction fishing or the like.

It's maybe a poor display, but it's one nonetheless.

Mod: Can we get a prod on Snake?

I'm seeing a lot arguments start to turn emotional here. Getting locked in emotional fights with people does not help town. Let's stay rational.

I'm a big fan of post 101, but GreyICE is totally taking a different interpretation than I did (on post 106), so while I might agree with his sentiments, I don't agree for the same reasons.

I don't get it.
Well, I do, they're posts that have very little proffered opinion, saying something WITHOUT actually saying anything. But I wouldn't say that's an automatic scumtell, I mean, I probably post things that have little actual opinion offered.

Is it really
that
bad in your eyes?

Bridge is TAM your top scumread?

Everyone vote snake. There is a 4/10 chance hes scum without reads, this is the best vote ever considering everyone is just derping about right now.
Plus the added bonus I am town so you know there is 2 town who are not snake, basically 4/8 50/50 chance of town win simply by lynching Snake.
Plus Plus the final bonus, noone else has shown interest in wagoning him; scum are not jumping on what looks like an easy lurker wagon.

I understand the case isn't amazing but there simply isn't a good case right now on anyone, get on snake.

But that's not the same. You weren't bored or facing inactivity early in day 1, were you?

Town TAM totally would have done something to encourage players to give him reads. Scum-TAM is like 'oh well better keep posting what should I post, I'll say I'm bored and meander about the lack of activity, haha.'

(actually the game thread had accumulated around 50 posts in 2 days, a pace that, if kept up, would be around a 500 post day 1).
